Somebody I know has a photography website, and the person (Cousin of fiancee.) that was working on it doesn't have the time anymore.  So, I was asked for an estimate of what it'd cost for maintenance.  I'm not entirely sure what she all wants done, but I wanted to get an estimate of what I should charge for what before I see what all is needed.
Now, I'm pretty much completely new to the whole client thing, because my last "client" was my dad.
So, since I've know them personally for years and my skills are less than pro, what should I charge for different services?

I wish I knew more about that, but my only client has been my dad too, and I don't even remember how much money he's given me and for which projects. Maybe the best way to figure that out would be to look for freelance web developers on Google and see how much they generally charge. Of course you'd probably charge much less given that you're probably just an amateur.

So. my older sister has been accepted into Connecticut College! She and my mom visited the college today, and got me a coffee thermal mug on the way back! This story may be largely inspirational or just plain heart-warming for you guys, but it's pretty funny for a mom to buy her 12yo coffee-addicted son a thermal coffee mug.

I'd probably stay away from Transportation , because you can probably only build upon previous ideas at this day and age (unless you prove teleportation possible). Consumer Products and Energy Saving Stuff are pretty infinite, though

I have to give a speech tomorrow on a random topic of my choice that I haven't picked yet. Any ideas? Right now, I'll probably either do one on Flag Semaphore, Cryopreservation or Why Trial By Combat Should Be Legalized (I don't take this very seriously if you can't tell). Does anyone have any better ideas?
