I'm pretty sure that I was mentioned more than once in the staff forum back then.  And on occasion now, too.  I literally tense up when reading my old posts, and wonder if that was really me.

I'd agree with that but only almost staff worthy.

Am I allowed to disagree without getting karma bombed?

To prevent any future conflict: The staff isn't looking for any new additions right now.

Feel free to speculate, but just be wary that it won't happen in the near future.

Because that seems to be the attitude of various members. Disagreeing is a grave offence and must be punished.

Just look at my Karma ratings page. I have probably gotten the most negative karma of any serious user, often for simply having an opinion that differs from the majority.

Highly depends on how you put down your opinion.

well I guess it does depend on how you put down your opinion. I've opened the recent karma rates and searched for your negs; there are posts like this

What the title says exactly. Why are HATPC, SMF, N and Free Rider 2 so much better for level making in comparison to games such as Scriball, Super Meat Boy and SeppuKuties? (Note: These are just examples of more popular and less popular games on the site.)

This could help with expanding Aeon and bringing in new members.

which have 4 votes nullified to 0 for some reason; but also posts like this
'FlashMarsh' said:
Yuggy is a weak-sauce failcake who always loses. Next.

which are nullified for some reason.

the for some reason means that I can't see why anyone would -rate a post like the first, which is contributing, non-offensive, and in fact produced good discussion; but it also means that I can't see why someone would +rate a post like the second. all the posts I've seen so far are in total 0 karma, lol. you should be the next Dud of the year lol

then you also have stuff (nullified too, all hehe) like that
'FlashMarsh' said:
That test is pretty terrible. Many questions are simply the same, and I got 24% simply because I prefer to be moving when having conversations and daydreaming a little. I wouldn't pay much attention to it. The fact that they described the symptoms as common, yet saying I should be worried blah, blah BLAH shows that they seem to be trying to make a massive deal out of nothing.

I don't care that you don't play Runescape, and it's just not something you're interested in.

I got some pretty good stuff the most notable being an iphone, but I got some games as well, including MW3.

Lol... You're playing that crap on PC...
(last one is not at 0 )
which should explain by itself that the phrasing could be offensive.

Every time you have an outrageous or insulting opinion to say, put "no offense" before it. IT WORKS! Sort of.

No offense, but if I was in a room with you, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Bashar al-Assad and I had a gun with only two bullets, I'd shoot you twice. Also no offense but you are a complete failure and should just drown yourself in a lake.

(my point is that saying No offense doesn't work, so don't use that instead of formulating yourself in a nicer way)

No offense, but it was more of a joke as to how I almost always use to put "no offense" in my posts if any of the content was in any way remotely stupid (I've gotten better), and the "sort of" was meant to imply that it wasn't surefire. I laughed at that insult, though.
