500k is too big, 5 - 15k makes more sense. It'll stop people from exploring ridiculously far in one direction.

I dunno what else I can do for Darvince. I deleted all of his .dat files, even in the other worlds. And there's no more regions to delete that are in the millions...

Get a jail plugin, set the jail and jail Darvince. When he logs in, he will automatically be sent to the jail and we don't have to worry about all the stuff loading millions of blocks away. He will also get the punishment he deserves .

Isn't this like the third time that someone has done something with coordinates and got themselves blocked from our minecraft server? This is at least the 2nd time it's happened to an teammate of mine during the IO. Do we need to write a guide on how to not get yourself locked out of our server? I would think it would be common sense to not do something like change your position to some ridiculously big number or whatever you're doing.

How about we just make the border be at 15k, and also, let's get a jail plugin, make a small place, jail Darvince, get him on so he will be sent to jail, find a way to tp him and unjail him (maybe have someone make a Java Bukkit plugin to have a command to unjail and tp him to spawn), then delete the jail and the plugin (you guys can re-install it if you want to).

This is true, but the question remains; Why in the world did you teleport a million blocks out? I mean just, why? WHY? What purpose does that serve? You know that nothing over there is going to look any different than anywhere else in the server.

In this instance, I don't think Darvince needs to be suspended from the server. As we've learned, actions can have direct consequences, and now Darvince can't join that server. I suggest that you just take your time in fixing whatever problem Darvince has. This appears to be an innocent, albeit very stupid, mistake, so I don't think that Darvince is going to do it again. But can everyone just not do things that don't have a constructive purpose, like teleporting yourself really high (I think that happened to Jorster) or really far away from everyone?
