I shouldn't be posting here, but make me replace Conzy. We at least have some chance at getting Sniper to post given his previous activity on the site.

Both were prodded. They have until tomorrow to pick it up, if they don't, you will replace Conzy.

My apologies. I'm at my parents house and unexpectedly can't get on a proper computer. I'm reading the posts, but making arguments on a smart phone is a bit of a nightmare.

My first observation is Jorster. In my opinion this post feels like he is just trying far too hard to sound natural, and to me pretty much no townie player would post something like that. This may sound conspiratorial, but Mafia is like that. I find this very hard to explain, and it really isn't worth a wagon, however this just doesn't seem like any average town player would post, especially just after the first theory was introduced, and the RVS semi-ended. I'm almost certain this is just a dumb hunch (and a general dislike of Jorster's posting in Mafia games), but I thought it was worth bringing up anyway.

ugh, there's a thing called sleep. It was 1am and I never even saw this post until this morning.

Why should I be awake at 1-2:30am? I know I was in the summer, but this is schooltime for me now so I'm not going to be awake past 3-3:30am Interguild time now.

Also if I still had a fos on anyone...
UnFos: All

Vote: Rocketguy
Even less content than me, made five posts on nothing, is a lot more inactive, and has no reasons for anything other than "acting suspicious". I think he's a better policy lynch because he won't add anything to the game and just sit around as posting to avoid being replaced.

Fos: jazz
He's being a big hypocrite on why he doesn't want to vote for Conzy or rocketguy. He also isn't posting and is normally most of the day and is active... Except during a Mafia game. I think he always turns inactive during a Mafia game so that he doesn't have to post as much, or he just browses the Interguild logged out, but it's still stupid.

No not really, even as town, because it could be taken as a scumslip and suddenly bandwagon IMO.

I'll reply to all of your stuff flash when you're done evaluating everything.

His play is horrible, HORRIBLE. I know he normally plays aggressive, however this is just absurd. Posts like 'Why are you defending Isa?' seem like attempts to scare players into not questioning him, and so on. He got really mad when Isa started playing not even aggressively as him. I just find his play bizarre. He normally (from an independent stand point) seemed to be aggressive but logical, but in this game he seems to be using his known aggressiveness to his advantage and is just getting away with blatantly terrible claims through attempting to scare other less experienced players into not accusing him whatsoever i fear that he will turn on them, which they view as bad due to his apparent skill and reputation for being fairly accurate (if annoying) at finding Mafia.

At the moment I feel like it's a Jell/Thomas/Jorster mafia team.

Thomas and Jorster I have stated my reasons above.

Jellsprout just seems to be almost actively avoiding contributing as much as he can. Many of his posts have very little content in them, and although he appears to playing alright, he is in reality probably pulling a CSD and playing far below his skill level. Mainly just a hunch, and he may have been legitimately busy, but if he continues this into day 2 or 3 I'll feel fairly strongly that he's mafia.

I agree with you on jellsprout. He is playing sort of similarly to Harumbai last game. He is flying under the radar completely. No one really has looked at him this game. If he was actually busy, I think he would have said so, which is usually like him. Whenever he comes on, the posts are usually things that everyone knows.

Such as:

'jellsprout' said:
The problem this game is that there are too many newbies. People just keep bandwagoning for no reason and are overall desperate for lynches. The experienced players have also been away for the past few days. The game simply isn't interesting like this.

This.

'jellsprout' said:
So just like that, Conzy is already at L-2. Are you guys really that desperate for a lynch.

And this, which isn't even a correct statement.

I do agree about Jell. I have noticed him sort of slipping under the radar. I feel he could be contributing a lot more and better than he is.

Also pleased about the Conzy replacement. Flash has already been 500 times more useful (not hard considering Conzy's only post was a bandwagon with no logic) but we need all the active players we can get.

I feel that he may be trying to use the newbies to his advantage, by, as you say, scaring them into just going along with him. As I have stated previously I found his arguments against Isa bad, as his reason why Isa's agressiveness was scummy and his wasn't, was that it was normal for him and not for Isa. This was flawed because for a start Isa hasn't played many games here and in the last one he was scum and the other was a year ago so there isn't really a normal to base it off. Thomas should know this. Also when I asked him this:
'Yuggy' said:
'Thomas' said:
Isa playing aggressively is unusual but it's normal for me, apparently.
Just because you normally do it, why is it a crime when someone else does it?
He responds by completely deflecting the question and saying this:
'Thomas' said:
Why are you defending Isa?
So Thomas, tell me this, why didn't you answer my question?

Ok, I'm gonna drop the fos on jazz. He's always like this now that I looked at past games with jazz (other than game 4).

Unfos: jazz

Looking at game 4 (with scumisa), Isa wasn't even aggressive at that game.

Flashe, I don't really see any flaws in your reasoning (maybe I need to read deeper into the posts, but so far I don't see any flaws in them).

Which games have/has jell played in before as town?
Jorster's play is usually this way, from viewing the last game anyways.

Also sorry about not making this post sooner and its short length, I was looking at other stuff and forgot I had the Interguild open.

Hi, I am back.

I do agree that Jellsprout hasn't produced a lot of content this game, and even if there are many reasons for that, I think he could do with some motivation.

I am glad to see FlashMarsh replacing in and playing pretty well. Other than that, the pages I was absent on wasn't very exciting, but some minor scumpoints to Yuggy.

I'll also add that Isa has been scum before and his play was no different from his normal. So just because he has been a little bit more agressive so far doesn't necessarily mean he is mafia/not town.

No normal to base it off, yet...make up your mind mmkay?

Darvince, I would highly suggest not using your autorefresher if you're still doing that...
I'm not so convinced about Thomas yet... Jellsprout seems worse. The inactiveness but not thing is kinda strange for him. Last game he was the first to post reads and now he's not so eager...

Mod: Prod/replace jazz please.

Well new players being reckless with their vote is not my concern. Let's put you into a theoretical situation that I was mafia and rocket guy2 made a bandwagoning post. People would then go after him instead and he would act like a distraction so then I would benefit. The question to Yuggy is not hiding anything and it was directed only at Yuggy because I wanted to know why he was so sure Isa was not mafia.

'jellsprout' said:

This is BS. I thought you were the logical guy who would realize that having more experienced players posting would fix the problem. Instead you're dropping out. Was this pro-town of you?
