IT'S FINALLY FIXED!
Our server IP has been changed to: 192.241.9.120:25576
And the server map is running on: http://192.241.9.120:8123 (although it looks like the map has to be reset/reconfigured). | | Darvince |

...but that sounds like a local IP?

But a local IP sounds like 196.168.1.100...
Anyway, HI GUYS!
I have a new computer and I can record Minecraft stuff, so I was thinking about doing a server tour. (FYI, in a "Remembering the First Interguild Minecraft Server" style. No voiceover.) So, I'll probably do two videos: one for survival and one for creative. Now I put it up to you: what creations of yours do you want me to include?
Edit: Oh, and it will be in 720p, and maybe even 1080p.

Attempting to search for Interguild's server map, I stumbled upon another server's map, and promptly said "no". This led to a 30 minute discussion on who I was among the players and caused my confusion count to reach levels comparable to shos' constant confusion.

Edit: Oh, and it will be in 720p, and maybe even 1080p. That's awesome! What recording software do you plan on using? I still use Hypercam, but lately I've been thinking of getting Fraps so that I can start recording stuff from higher end games.
Also, I want to encourage people to put more of their creations in the database, so if you want your creations featured in videos, try to raise awareness of them by uploading pics and stuff of them. | | Bmwsu |

I use recordMyDesktop. It's the best Ubuntu substitute, because I'm too cheap to be able to afford Windows.
I've also been thinking, and when Thomas said stuff like, " The problem is admin inactivity," I agreed with him. But only recently have I realized that it applies to the server as well. As a server admin, I've kind of neglected the server I'm suppose to administrate. As such, I figured that that meant that I should become more active in what I am supposed to take care of, and not just let Livio do all the work, like he's done.
So I'm going to ask these questions:
What does the server need? (Opinion and fact.)
What is broken on the server?
because I haven't payed enough attention to the server in the past few months.

So in an attempt to fix dynamic map, I decided to try deleting all of the render data and then do a full render again, but that took too long, so I stopped deleting after it had taken out about half of Different's map, and now I'm doing a full render. This time I'm also rendering an isometric map, which is nice for when you want to see what's on the surface.
I want to add a world border, so that we can cap the size of the worlds. I don't like having people spread out across huge distances, and it just looks ugly on the map as well. Although, we won't be able to install the plugin without restarting the server, and we probably shouldn't do that until the map rendering is done, which may be several hours from now.
By the way, our map has moved to a new port: http://192.241.9.120:8125 | | Darvince |

Oh yeah, my younger brother started playing Minecraft sometime last year. He was wondering if he could become a part of the Interguild server. I consider him to be trustworthy, and he's a moderately good builder. (Not a noob) He's also friends with krotomo, and kro considers him trustworthy. So, just wondering, can he join the Interguild?

I would approve of
Gravel
Stone
Wool
Stone Half-Slabs
but not the others, except maybe in combination, like a cobble path with wood fences or something.

my brother's MC username is mymop
Not sure why he made it that, but there are probably weirder usernames out there.

Oh, I'd go for stone half-slabs if I were you. Definitely not grass or dirt.
EDIT: Post 1700! I had a short break from the Interguild but now I guess I'm back.

I would go with gravel if you want to make a path, stone brick or stone slabs for a road. | | Bmwsu |

Hey guys, in survival if you can make a pickaxe and get silk touch on it, I'll give you 5 or 6 diamonds. Maybe 7 if it has even more enchantments on it; unbreaking would be the best.
If you think the price is too low, maybe I can up the reward.
