I think I'd been online since this topic was created but apparently I missed it since I never stay on long.
"I think you're the type of person who would feel comforted from this loss if you were to hold a partially filled water bottle without a cap."
lol what?
I thought it was ridiculous that Livio couldn't find the time to get on back when I was in highschool. Oh how naive I was back then.
Speaking of which I probably shouldn't be online right now, I still have to finish a reading and go to bed since I have to wake up pretty early tomorrow.

Isa, Isa, Isa... Where to begin with you? Oh, Isa...
The very complexion of your complexity--the complexity of your complexion, even--is, indeed, a perplexing matter. Such an advanced and profound nature, such brilliance aligned smoothly with arrogance and an edge of egotism and pride. While singing in the shower, I once wondered how I could best characterize you in a single question: What is half of infinity? Yet of course, I could not merely inquire such a riveting absurdity without presuming its solution: Infinity. Both the question and the answer will be embedded within me, Isa, and only with the sole purpose of forever reminding me of you--whether I be lonely or joyous in happy naivety. Question and answer, Isa, is your name. As such, indeed there is a particular pattern of smileys which symbolizes your entity.
You can be defined as both mature and a party-pooper. In my glorious attempt--err, I mean--in KarmaBot's ruthless, cruel attempt to seize Livio's karma (and thus, in turn, the entire InterGuild), it was you--yes, you--who took upon the duty to make known the callowness of the matter. That's exactly the type of person who I would pit against the likes of a soaring upside-down hot air balloon. When I think of trolling, when I think of entertainment, when I think of jokes, when I think of necessary immaturity, I instinctively think of yo killing the mood with the message " OH HELL NO" written all over your stern and cold face. You say, "Nay, that is not me," yet I beg the question: Did you wince upon reading the typo in the last sentence? I beg you did, and I beg you are now begged--begged, which of which, in turn earned new connotations--at the redundancy and repetition of which I beg you.
If I could trap you in the body of any Super Smash Bros. participant, it would be inside Captain Olimar. (The lad never speaks.) That being said, I feel obliged to establish the fact that Isa shall be the sole survivor of the onslaught to come; The destruction and bombardment which the InterGuild now faces is as a mundane and trivial matter upon him. As some of you bathe in your own sweat and blood, he shall sit on high, laughing ferociously as one who just won a game of The Floor is Lava. His secret, you ask? His strategy, you wonder? Nay, his means! It will be all because of his wielded item--the only known object to boost his survivability and physical capabilities: a journal with four pages torn, three pages ripped out, twenty seven pages scribbled on, and one page folded in three ways.
His last words before he enters immortality shall be, "Pathetic. You're all pretenders." | | shos |

shos, you are not Captain Obvious, who most certainly is Captain Obvious, obviously. Many joke and troll accounts were created in the time of this beautiful board, some with malicious intent, others with playful hopes. Captain Obvious shall be, henceforth in this speech, the persona of all such accounts, as its identification is the most apparent, thus the most effective. Getting right down to it: The smiley face which would best reflect Captain's image is, indeed, the smiley face, for obvious reasons.
Some here are convinced that the creation of a joke account is a childish, unproductive, and even selfish act, and that these accounts hinder the growth of this soon-to-be-tarnished community. The very existence of Captain Obvious, however, is the antithesis to this belief; follow me, now, as I delve into some ideals which Captain Obvious does subtly represent. Indeed, what is mirrored of the Interguild through this character is--perhaps shockingly--not so obvious. Let us no longer remain oblivious.
As it may be regular knowledge to some, realize that the origin of the Captain Obvious account did not share the same name. In fact, before Captain Obvious was formed, it was first named InterBot. (Also realize that the current-day InterBot was renamed after this change; before it was InterBot, it was known as Intertester.) Yes, the account shifted from the use of testing purposes to the role of a light-hearted and quirky supporter. This shift is parallel to the Interguild's own: The Interguild progressed from its beta stages, able to finally break a smile, able to finally throw some teasing, able to finally state the obvious:
'Captain Obvious' said: I'm all in your head!
Yes, it was the psychiatric viewpoint of it all that helped us move on. Some still hold firm to the thought that this is a mature community, destined to attract the masses. But is that so, Captain Obvious?
'Captain Obvious' said: No!
The very selling point of this bunch is its callow behavior--behavior which is shared by all of the community. Yes, even the staff--although certain individuals may deny it--acknowledge that this forum is all about the wit and the giggles, which is made evident by the fact that the Captain Obvious account is used and accessed by all individuals of staff. Yes, we all share into the notion that this place thrives off the laughs. I mean, isn't it obvious? We have achieved a greater realization than from before. Captain Obvious mimics this in every nonsensical redundancy it makes.
Captain Obvious will be the next to fall following Livio's demise. With the disappearance of this account, soon the riddance of the fundamental and backbone ideals will ensue. There is no hope for any after this moment. All will burn and perish. Yes, the spirit and soul of the Interguild will crash. Had we been at the InterBot stage during this tragedy--and please know what I mean by such--then perhaps we would all consider this as...
...but as we are now in the Captain Obvious era, we can take it for what it truly is: inevitable. | | shos |

I am disappointed there were not more such posts. Someone should drag imtimi back to the interguild so he can finish giving his shoutouts.
