Is anybody planning on getting the switch?

If I do, it won't be for the foreseeable future. It's not worth getting a console immediately upon launch anyway unless there's a specific launch title you really want. I have a Wii U, so I don't need any of the previously Wii U exclusives that are gonna be rereleased on it like Mario Kart 8, and I bought a 3DS recently so I've done my part in giving Nintendo $$$

It's an intriguing device, but I'm not willing to fork over $300 for it. I grew up on PC games, not Nintendo games, so the exclusives don't really appeal to me that much. I probably wouldn't end up using it too much anyway (sour grapes, eh?); I have too many games to play already.

I'm planning on getting it when I can afford to. As a PC player who tried out my friend's Wii-U a bit, I'm a big believer in gyro aiming and a big fan of Splatoon. I can't see myself getting any console that doesn't have gyro aiming, but with the Switch set to have gyro aiming, Splatoon 2, and several other 3D free-aim games, I think it's a good candidate for my first console.

RIP internet privacy. This bill still has to go to the House, so there's a chance it won't pass. However, since this vote was 100% divided on party lines in the Senate, and the House is also controlled by Republicans, it's not looking good. It's probably only going to get worse from here, considering who's in office right now. Might just start paying for a VPN at this point. Or drop all forms of electronic communication and become a hermit in the Andes.

Hmmm... should I mention anything? Yeah, **** it. I smoked weed for my first time tonight/yesterday/whatever. My friends basically told me a.) since it was my first time, I shouldn't take too big of a hit and b.) since it was my first time, I probably wouldn't feel anything. It wasn't unpleasant, but yeah I didn't really feel anything. It probably didn't help that I was already caffeinated and drunk, so that might have dwarfed whatever effect the weed would've had on me.

I think the topic came up a long time ago in the random chat, and I don't think anyone was super into weed or anything. As of now, I don't think I'll be begging to do it again, but I'd be receptive to any opportunities that open up in the future.

Speaking of opportunities... I guess I shouldn't apply to any jobs for like a month. Well, I probably wasn't going to anyway. If you're wondering why I'm not bashing my face againts my keyboard in a drunken and high stupor, the weed happened like 4 hours ago, and I haven't drank in like 1.5 hours, so I've regained some of my compposure

Ive been drinking since 17 maybe? But 18 is the legal here. Weed is less common I suppose although it still is very common. I havent done it yet (im 24) because of my job, I fear polygraph lol. Glad to hear it's not a big deal
