while I was uploading the images for the video archive, I noticed a tiny button in my FTP program that says: "Manage Podcasts".

sounds like we could do it after all, but the question is, do we really want to?

I think it'd be a cool idea to actually do. I have no clue how this Podcast Manager works, and looking through it, I can see it will not help us in actually recording the podcast. In fact it might not help us at all. but I still like the idea, so I might as well revive it.

EDIT: ok I looked through it and it says it's good for downloading multiple RSS feeds of podcasts, but it also lets you upload podcast feeds. nothing about making the podcasts, though. still, the idea is pretty cool... maybe we can actually do it sometime

And that would be helpful...why, when and how?  

I don't think hatpc has got something to do with podcasts. Well, if you can come up with a really fantastic idea, it would be a nice addition?

I suggest reading at least the first page of that topic I linked to. it sounds cool. It may not be the right time to start it, but this idea would be something great for when we get multiple games.

I agree with your last post. At the moment, it will be pointless. But once the site gets more games, it should be possible.

I imagine that when we do get more games, we will have so many constant updates. So having a podcast will be great to help semi-active people keep up with what's going on.

Podcasts can always be entertaining. It doesn't have to be all about HatPC so much as all the goings-on around the site in general.

That said, meh. It isn't likely too many people here would be interested in maintaining a podcast. I was in one once a few years ago as a "guest", and the impression I got from the "regulars" as we were rehearsing was that it was pretty much just a chore with no real benefit or purpose outside of entertaining everyone else with the opportunity for them to hear their usernames spoken aloud, which is apparently super duper fun.

Basically, just like a glorified news post that takes 10x longer to create.
