What actions earn you points and how many points does each of those actions earn? I could test it out myself, but I'm pretty sure you guys already know it exactly.

I remember vaguely someone (probably CSD) figuring out the score rewards for every action. I can't find it though. I do remember though that Hannah breaking an object rewards more points than having the object being broken by something else, like an arrow.

A quick search found me this, although that isn't exactly what you're looking for. Like Kro said, CSD probably went and found the score of everything at some point but I don't know where that would be found.

Also, how many points is a steel arrow crate going to give you, compared to a normal one?

I don't have a list of how many points are awarded for each action. I messaged droid with a best guess from memory (it was a long time ago), but I never actually worked out how many points things were worth if it didn't matter to figuring the max points. There may be an incomplete and/or inaccurate table somewhere on old Interguild idk.

In my best guess to Droid I got something destroys an arrow too high by 5. You forgot to say how much a ladder, water crate, and water tap crate is worth, and you're incorrect about how many points you get from destroying a spike (it's 0 only if it's crushed, 5 otherwise). IIRC it's 500 for treasures and 5000 for Gems after a level. (It might also be possible from something else to destroy a gem or a heart? I forget how??)

Arrows and dynamite can destroy gems and hearts just as if they were normal crates. Also updated.

No, the gem icon appears at the location of the gem but no "Collected gem!" message appears on the screen. And you also don't get an extra life if something else destroys an extra life crate, although this is more widely known.

Thanks Darvince, looks great.

And on second thought, I have a better idea for determining how many points to award for "Something destroys a metal arrow crate" - since "Something destroys a wooden dynamite" and "Something destroys a metal dynamite" are the same, I'll make "Something destroys a metal arrow crate" the same as "Something destroys a wooden arrow crate", or 20.

There's also the question of how many points destroying an enemy should be worth if I add the ability to do that, but that's jumping the gun a bit since it'll be a while before I implement enemies.

I'll have to change my code to add that, ATM I believe they are indestructible except by Hannah in my code, like treasures.

BTW, I just implemented scoring. It was pretty simple, although I still need to tweak the display a bit.
