So. Multihannah is a thing now. And rather than being a party pooper and patching it out, I'm planning on changing some mechanics to make it work better. But I'd like your opinion on the changes before I make them. I'll organize these by subject (even for things I'm not changing) so people get an idea of the different things that can be changed.
1) Death
Currently, the death of any of the multiple Hannahs causes you to lose a life and reload the last checkpoint. I don't plan to change this, but it could be changed so that you don't lose until all of your Hannahs are dead.
2) Jumping
Currently, jumping causes just one of your Hannahs to jump, which is useful in some situations but not others. I think I'll change that so that all Hannahs jump when you press space. This will make it virtually impossible to un-merge Hannahs that have merged though, so I might do something about that. More on that later.
3) Camera
Currently, the camera focuses on one Hannah and there's no way to look at the other Hannahs. "Doppelhannah" uses this to maddening effect.
I think I'll add a keyboard hotkey to swap cycle your camera perspective between Hannahs, so that if they're out of view of each other, you can still see the area around both of them.
4) Dynamite Crates
Currently, dynamite crates launch the dynamite away from the last Hannah no matter who hit them. I'll change that so that they launch away from the Hannah that hit them.
5) Merging
Currently, Hannahs can merge into each other. I propose changing that so that Hannahs act solid to other Hannahs, which could lead to some interesting situations. It would require a bit of coding to get right, but I think it would make for a better experience. It would probably make situations with lots of Hannahs a bit more laggy, but it would also make them more chaotic and ridiculous, which is the point after all, right?
