Hey Interguild, I'm here to make Sefro's personal music project look better. I've been the vocalist in a metal band for the past few months, and yesterday we released our debut demo or whatever. We play a genre of metal called grindcore, which in layman's terms is kind of a cross between hardcore punk and death metal. Short, fast, intense, oft political (our music also has elements of straight up death metal tho). If you're interested in some legitimately good grindcore bands, I'd recommend acts such as Napalm Death, Brutal Truth, Nasum, Cloud Rat, and Excruciating Terror.
Although we're proud of the work we accomplished on the demo, we know we still have a lot of room for improvement. This is my first band, and basically the guitarist's first and a half. Also mixing music is hella complicated. Anyways, it's 10 songs in 7 minutes, and you can at last put a voice (albeit a screamed one) to the person known as Yaya, rather than imagining I sound like... I don't even know, an okapi? Enjoy?

Are you Sine or E?
Also, while it's not my style of music, I can definitely see the appeal

Cool, any reason behind the name, other than my signature?

We're back at it again with our debut album. 41 tracks in 29 minutes. Far more competently mixed than the demo, still just as loud and absurd. Look for us in the next Just Dance game

That's dope!
What's the reasoning behind having a lot of short songs over less longer songs?

It just kinda comes with the territory of the subgenre (grindcore). It takes a lot of influence from punk, which also has shorter songs, so I guess it was just upping the ante. Scum by Napalm Death, considered by most the first grindcore album, is infamously known for having a one second song on it. As time has gone on, some bands have adapted more traditional album structures, while others have taken it even further.
We're not opposed to longer songs, but we just kinda gravitated towards short stuff. If we ever release another album, it will probably have some longer stuff on it, and by that, I mean *maybe* more than one song that's over 2 minutes
