-Wind Gusts-
In the Cave Creator, you can insert Wind Vents (that look like flat squares with criss-crossing lines) that will burst a gust of wind every 5 seconds. Some Wind Vents have wind that goes on forever - you can break a Wind Box that puts it back to it's usual 5-sec pace.

-Levers-
Just walk into it to pull/push it. Must be placed against terrain or a solid item (i.e. a metal box). Levers can also be activated by arrows and dynamite.

Red lever - opens/closes trapdoors.
Blue lever - makes water rise faster/slower.

-Falling Spikes-

When you pass under a cracking spike, it will fall until it hits you or a solid tile. It destroys any fragile tile except for the objective item (the item you need to get).

-Moving Ramp-
Ramps move up or down. You can slide down a down-moving ramp and climb up a up-moving ramp.

-Mice-
Mice come out of mouseholes. Mice can be killed by boulders and dynamite and arrows. Red mice are evil, and they come out of their mousehole every 10 seconds. If you are three tiles near they come out (if it's been 10 sec) and they will throw their dynamite at you before going into their hole after 3 sec. White mice give you a extra life, they come out once every time you play only when you come near. Red mice live in red mouse holes, white mice live in green mouse holes. Mice can be heard in the distance by their squeak.
(I was thinking life boxes could be replaced with white mice.)

-Bomb Arrow-
A box which has a arrow with a bomb on it. It does bigger damage than a normal arrow. It can set off 3 dynamite when it hits the dynamite, unlike a normal arrow which sets off 1 dynamite. Bomb arrows can kill mice in a hit.

-Bubble-
Refills three lost bubbles underwater. Just looks like a bubble on a box.

-Bats-
Bats must be crawled under to avoid. Bats, when touched, make you go white and paralyse you for 5 seconds.

-Ghosts-
Act like bats, except they can be jumped over and the seconds you get for being paralysed are 10.

-Glass-
Broken glass on the floor in small piles a tile big. If you touch it, you die. If placed in midair, they fall to the ground and fade away.

-Trapdoor-
Trapdoors are closed, and can only be opened and closed again with a red lever.

And, finally...

-Monorails-
Every 10 seconds a monorail train goes by. You can walk on these, but if the monorail train hits you, you die. Just look like thick grey lines with monorail trains going over them.

Phew! That's all my ideas.
I don't mind if you reject any, but please just approve a few.

I accept everything, except for updownarrow, knights armor, mice, moving ramp, bomb arrow, caged cat, bats and ghosts, magic wand, cannonball/cannonball crate and fries.

Reasons why I decline/accept these ideas:

MONORAIL: But then, for the monorail, we'd have to make the tracks too, right? We'd also have to remember to complete the track circut, so that the monorail won't go outa' bounds.

MICE: And if we do have mice, then if you wait too long, millions of mice will be guarding all of the floors in the level, then that level will turn into a pectus.

UPDOWNARROW: What happens if you forget which is which? There's completely no point of this because we can just manually put in the up and down arrow.

KNIGHTS ARMOR: I decline this because then we'd have two themes in one game; adventure and monstorous. I don't like that comparison.

BOMBARROWCRATEORWHATEVERIT'SCALLED: Decline, because.. I can't explain.

MOVINGRAMP: I used to like this, but it reminds me too much of mario bros, which is a whole different game.

CAGEDCAT: Same reason as mice.

FRIES: Fries? I don't think hannah likes french fries much. We wanna keep her healthy, right?

MAGICWAND: This reminds me of shrek III on gameboy, which is isn't a  very fun game.

CANNONBALL: This also reminds me of super mario bros 63. Also, you can get to an impossible-to-reach-place-without-using-cannonball.

CANNONBALLCRATE: Well, I don't know if I should decline or accept.

Phew. *whipes of sweat*

we had a huge discussion about wind in the old forums, and it was rejected

falling spikes. I say we should start a new topic for this one. there were some cool ideas floating around about it.

the ramp sounds almost like my idea for slanted platform? well, that got rejected too.

I think we mentioned bomb arrows before. but then again, we're gonna have the dynamite launcher in it, so we won't need this. reject

bubble. what was our old consensus on this? didn't we say that air pockets should look like bubbles? and I can't remember if we decided to make them one-use or destroyable or both. we need to dig up that old topic...

an arrow with more than one direction that it fires in. sounds good, and could save lots of space, but I don't think it's super necessary, and it's just gonna add more tiles to make newcomers more confused.

EDIT: everything else is reject

Umm... Yeah. Reject all but bubbles. The only thing I like is bubbles that replenish your air. There was a discussion about this (since somebody that you remind us of for some reason suggested it), and I -think- it got unlikely. I wanted it to get through, but I forget why it didn't...

And the last post was weeks ago... Um, don't mind me...

This has to be the only topic where three consecutive posts were made in 2008, 2009 and 2010.

Good observation.

I like these ideas as one-off campaign features. I'll give an overall APPROVE - only for the story mode though. Anything that's like Rayman gets my approval.

that's an interesting idea. It might make the campaign more interesting if the levels weren't limited to the constraints of a user-friendly level editor. However, I also remember someone saying that they didn't want there to be anything in the main levels that people couldn't do in the editor....
