I was mad at quirvy, so I changed his post to say "karma", and then I docked him one. That rate's since been deleted (as it should have been).

I saw that in the karma panel, and I was like, "When did I post that?"

And, Accel, fix the quotes glitch.

Why? This can simplify complex arrow traps.

If you wanna shoot stuff in multiple directions, that's one thing that dynamite's for. I hope dando's on my side with this... Is she? This seems like the type of thing she'd be onside with, since you can basically do it already...

I thought I'd posted in this thread already.

Anyway, yeah, REJECT. We have stuff that can do this. Besides, minimalizing the traps on your own is part of the fun of making levels!

My argument is this: if we were to make arrow/dynamite layout construction easy, perhaps the challenging aspect would be taken to a new level of complexity. We would see more space-efficient caves, a greater scope for creativity and fewer frame rate/shockwave errors. It would also make the game more accessible to younger players and beginners, enabling them to turn their ideas into reality sooner rather than later. For a lot of people, expecially myself, there are endless frustrating hours in the cavemaker where different tiles are turned about to try and squeeze in a unique trap that could easily be implemented with the multiple-arrow tiles. I feel that the current process of cavemaking isn't completely user-friendly and could be improved. It is also questionable about whether the magnitude of the challenge would change if shortcuts were built into cave construction. The best cavemakers will continue to push the boundaries with these multiple-arrow crates and increase the level of complexity and quality of cavemaking.

It can also be argued that dando and csd are approaching this from a veteran's point of view - they are used to coping with the difficulties of squeezing in traps of dynamite/arrows into small spaces and may be eager to defend the status quo that they have become used to. I think that it will be beneficial for all users of Aeon or whatever this game will be called if they can unleash their creative powers with ease and maximum efficiency.

Chew on that and see what you think.

exactly. I don't see how having to use this:
Code:
 <|>
..all the time rather than one tile will improve the gameplay or improve the ability to make traps or mislead the players and limit their imaginations. With a combined tile, you should be able to combine more traps in less space, thus enhancing the amount of room for creativity

That would require more time, Livio. Clearly, you do not know what you are talking about.

more time, more space, glitched, come on, livio. also, making all this in one crate, one tile, will alow other things to fall throguh the other tiles, arrows can go throguh there, it makes everything possible.

take some time to think before you post.

lol shos, I meant one tile that has the dimensions of one tile, that when hit, shoots arrows in multiple directions.
sure it would take more time, but that doesn't mean we can't add it.

It would make the caves faster, livio! Think about it! And it would give more space opening up so many possibilities! I mean, even right now, my imagination is thinking... Of IDEAS!
