As I probably won't be back on here for a week or two, I'd just like to wish the interguild a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year in advance!

Pretty epic winter this year - record temperatures and trains randomly breaking down in the Eurotunnel (under the sea...). There's a row of icicles on our gutter that are longer than my forearm and there's frost on the INSIDE of our conservatory - there's definitely going to be a white Christmas where I live. I imagine the Northern half of North America is going to be even worse, so some extreme snow and ice pictures would be great to see!

Will probably see you folk next year - have a good one and tell us what you get for Christmas!

See you later, also happy birthday in advance.

We're having some snow for this year too. It's also pretty cold here: -13.3 C yesterday. Thankfully it isn't snowing, getting the snow in your face is a major pain.

and I just heard that there was this massive train power outage in New Jersey.

It must've been three years since I last saw real snow.

lol I just thought about how many people are gonna have a horrible/depressed Christmas this year because they hate how the Senate's approving the bill on Christmas Eve.

btw, in my family, we mostly celebrate Christmas on Christmas Eve, instead of Christmas day.

We are having snow now, but it appears it will melt on Christmas. Instead we are getting good ol' rain.

So much for having a white Christmas. I'm supposed to get rain tomarrow and the day after that. Every other state in midwest and eastern U.s is getting a crapload of snow, but of course not me. Stupid Ohio, lol.

Ás a Dutchman, I celebrate Christmas on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and the day after Christmas Day. But without any presents, we've got another holiday for that.

We call it Second Christmas Day. It is useful to have two Christmas days, because on one day you can visit your father's side of the family and on the other day you can visit your mother's side of the family.

What about Kwanza? Nobody seems to care about the holiday anymore. Now it seems Christmas and Hannukah are all there is. I still gotta wrap some Christmas presents though.   Wrapping is probably one of the worst aspects of Christmas: Paper cuts that stick to everything.

Wrapping presents isn't hard. The worst with Christmas is saving enough money so that you can actually buy something decent to give away.

Sorry shos, but I was just wondering is there anyone on the interguild who celebrates it? I know jorster23 does, but he quit the interguild.

Lol, Isa. Eventually one of these years I guess my Mom will stop buying the presents I give, lol.

Uh. Kinda awkward for her to buy her own presents, I suppose.

Nah, my Dad buys my Mom presents. This conversation itself is awkward and making me seem like a total Momma's boy. I should stop talking.
