Okay, listen: It is NOT okay to rate every single post made by one user positive, or negative. That's spam rating, and can get your Karma rating abilities removed. Even though I don't think the whole D52 thing is funny, I can understand that you might, so the Karma rating in itself isn't what really bothers me, it's the actual mass ratings. They make the Karma system look like a complete joke, and I dunno about you but that's not what I'd like to see. They also make the job for the Staff harder seeing as we manually have to delete each single spam rate. Spam rating down posts isn't the solution either, because it's just as much cleaning up to do afterwards - instead, if you feel the need to, contact the staff. I'm posting this here because I fear that the trend might spread, making it OK in the public eye to spam rate posts by a single user. Short summary: It is not. | |
