Because Neopets are too lazy to sift through every single cave submitted, so instead they choose it randomly.

I would suggest making a poorly thought through cave called imperio, and then uploading the real thing once(if) it wins.
yeah, I just got the same idea...

Dekudude, you should upload some crazy glitch-filled cave! Something with fake crates or crazy stuff like that.

I wonder where they save the COTW? It might be a page like pirate_level_load?

how did you find pirate_level_load? by checking your browser's history or temporary internet files or something like that? You should try that on the cotw button

Perhaps this is a newer feature, as a result of that one guy who changed his cave? or maybe he changed his cave after they chose him as the winner, but before his level was saved.

Another possibility is that the cave name might be saved with the submission, but I doubt that's the case, since they would have still had to have played his really not even half-finished abc's cave, and if they did that, they probably would have noticed the difference in titles or something.

I used to find caves in my temporary internet files, but for some reason it never really clicked until I checked the source of therisenrealm's grabber. I wonder how -they- found it? Maybe you should ask them. I vaguely remember jazz doing some sort of trace type thing that I didn't really understand... Maybe it's something along those lines?

Don't do anything. just sit there and wait. an example is Ckjr's slackin series or Quirvy's LastStand

Haha the map would want to make the person faint even if it's a dda (if they're not from interguild)

Does anyone at neopets even know what the water crate is?

They might know, but then they'll probably think it's a hack and they might ban the account. I don't think Neopets knows about those crates anymore.
