I religiously sum every number that I see until it's reduced to one digit. For example, a phone number like 07291 261063 would be added up to 19 18 and then to 37 and then to 10 and then 1. Whenever I see a signpost, I always work out how each word is read backwards and what it sounds like. Reading signs while driving is rather time-consuming. | | krotomo |

You'd be surprised by how quickly I can do it. However, I do tend to miss important information on signs when driving because of this compulsion, which often leads to me getting lost. | | Yimmy |

erhm, if that matters, any number that I see, I think if it is beautiful. LOADS of numbers are beautiful. whether it's because it is a power of 3, or it divides 101, or it is prime, or if you multiply it with 27 you get 999, etc etc...

I'll update my bio.
I'm nowadays considered one of the best players in the world at competitive Pokémon Red/Blue/Yellow. Shoutouts to Jellsprout who supplied me with a good idea of a regular team in RBY 2½ years ago or so. | | jebby |

Took me about 15 seconds, which I'd say is pretty slow compared to some people.

Never really had that fascination with numbers (though I have seen some exceptionally interesting numbers). I see numbers that are obviously powers of small integers or have some nice factors as useful, usually in the sense that "Ah, that's how the examiner has made this question easy enough to be done in an exam without doing any mad calculations". Don't think I've done much "proper" maths since I've started studying computer science. I tend to choose the modules that use discrete maths and I think this has eroded my ability to manipulate numbers. I would totally get owned by any module that used calculus now. Love me some discrete maths though. | | jazz |

Recently I have this weird habit off getting up from the computer every few minutes, going to my room, taking my pencil, bringing it with me to the computer, doing nothing with it, getting up again, going to put it back, and back to the computer once more. And sometimes I don't even take my pencil, I just sort of walk to my room and walk back to the computer. It's quite weird. | | Yaya |

Well, not much about me has changed that I'm aware of (which isn't much).
As I've began to drive more frequently, 'jebby' said: Whenever I see a signpost, I always work out how each word is read backwards and what it sounds like. I do this too (usually only if I'm at the end of a long line at a red light). I also like to creep on the people behind me in my rear view mirror, and then realize the person in front of me can also see how much of a buffoon I am also and I become very aware of my movements.
And lately I've noticed that I open my mouth almost every time I take my earbuds out. It's somewhere between speaking gapage and a yawn. But I've also realized that it looks really weird and somewhat suggestive. Especially in public. It's probably instinctive to put less strain on my ears' cartilage when I take the buds out, but I think it's best that I bear the pain in this situation.

Sometimes when I breathe, potatoes come up my throat, fly out of mouth and hit people. Is this normal?

In all honesty.
I have a habit of coming up with different internet personas/personae. 4 was the best.
All stealth jokes aside, it's gotten to the point in which I don't remember which personality goes with which account.
I am also technically an uncle right now because of my sister 13 or so years my senior. | | Alizabells |

I sort of do that too, but with the kitchen instead. I'll be constantly getting up several times in even half an hour to go look in to cupboards and fridge, only to find nothing and go sit back at the computer.
