This is my entry for IO 2011 Pentathlon Round 5.

Timothy was an abnormal young man who ultimately desired companionship. He was ready to do just about anything to make some new friends - and that's when he tried following the crowd. He did what all the others were doing and began make friends one by one. Eventually, the new fad had become cliff jumping. Timothy saw people falling and splatting on impact with the ground. He had no idea what to do - to jump or not to jump. After the last person had jumped he realized something: if everyone was dead, who would be left to fit in with? It just didn't make any sense.

Timothy had always been an avid Hatpc fan. When news of the recently updated level 11 gem was announced, he was all over it. Lucky for him, the rest of the Hatpc fan base was too. When Timothy was the first to get the gem, everyone was ecstatic and immediately in awe of the new Hatpc champion. Timothy had become more than he ever wanted and had many more friends than he ever would have expected. He thought it would be a good idea to get every one of his buddies together and dine on some delicious tentacles to celebrate!
