My entry for the pentathlon round 5.

Yuggy woke up. he trudged downstairs and had breakfast. he booted his computer. It suddenly glowed with bright green light. Yuggy was sucked in and spat out a swirling green portal. He was at the top of two Twin Towers. He could just make out a golden yellow portal at the top of the other tower. He knew he had to get there. He dashed down, jumping down floors, but avoiding a surprisingly large amount of hazards. He ran out into the street, and was carried off on a cloud of bubbles. He was in the second tower. he hulled himself up onto a trampoline, and jumped up the layers. He eventually reached the top, and darted through the portal.

The first thing Yuggy knew was he was not back at home. The second thing was that he was in a cave of some sort, and it seemed to be in the shape of a Sprout. A deep mechanical voice sounded. "If you can beat my pet, The Sprout by collecting it's treasure and escaping, I will reward you." Yuggy was shocked. that voice had come out of nowhere. Yuggy saw a treasure and jumped for it. he managed to collect it but as he did, an arrow set off a trap. Before he knew it, Yuggy was running for his life.

The arrows eventually hit some dynamite, chucking arrows down, smashing up the floor just behind his feet. He jumped smashing a wooden crate and a boulder fell in front of him. Yuggy pushed it into a deep looking hole, it smashed through some platforms, and yuggy jumped down after it. He used arrows to his advantage smashing platforms. He reached the bottom of the hole, and he had to run again. He could see the exit. Arrows rained down from above smashing the floor where his feet had been mere seconds ago. he darted through the door, and everything went black. "Your reward is I won't kill you...Yet." said the voice.

A bright light flickered on. He was in a small white room. There was a large machine at one end of the room. "You'll never kill me." said the voice, seemingly reading his mind. "Besides, that is a control for the door anyway." As it said this the control panel exploded. "Anyway you'll never even get out of here." The voice said. The only door was now locked and it's control panel had exploded. Yuggy knew he would have to fix this control panel using the very advanced gear he had in his backpack. It was Time to Shine. He got to work using teapots and light bulbs to fix the curcuit the best he could. Eventually electricity flowed, and the door slid open. Before he could see what was beyond, he was sucked through...

Yuggy found himself in a barren valley, with piles of blocks in front of him. he had an idea. what if the overlord could save him! He decided to build a D52 Statue and Temple. He built a huge temple and a 3D statue. He then began to pray. If D52 couldn't save him, no-one could. He waited, and waited, but nothing happened. Then the voice sounded again. "You think your overlord can save you here? I call that Insane optimism." As soon as the voice stopped, Yuggy fell through the floor before he could even say anything in protest.

Yuggy landed heavily, he was in a large room. Two floating letters hung in the middle. They were IO. Must stand for that insane optimism the voice talked about earlier thought Yuggy. "Balance is key." said the voice. "Stack this and I may reward you in a Superepus way..." Yuggy began to stack, he made a little basket like structure out of triangles to hold lots of little squares. He waited, and his tower held. "Your reward is that I won't punish you for failing." The platform beneath Yuggys feet disappeared, and he fell into the darkness below.

He landed in another cave. At home Yuggy was a hatpc fan. This cave looked like tutorial one. "Find the gem and get to the door, and I wil give you prizes galore." said the voice. So it's Tutorial 1 (With a new gem or something) thought Yuggy. He set about trying to find the gem. He hit an arrow which dropped a bolder, smashing through platforms. He then went down and hit another arrow, which opened up a path. Yuggy grabbed the gem and headed towards the door. He went through. "Your prize," said the voice, "Is another cave." Yuggy groaned. Not another.

He was now in another cave. Great. "Beat the clock or I'll give you a shock." said the voice. Yuggy walked forward and hit an arrow. it hit another. he had set off a Time Trap! Yuggy ran down, many traps nearly killing him, arrows smashing down right next to his feet, he headed deeper into the cave, towards the door. He reached the final cavern, but the arrow timer was right behind him, he could see how it would shut off the door, unless he was on the other side when that happened, he would be trapped. he ran and slid under the falling crates. He had made it! He walked through the door. Surely this must be the end though? he thought...

Yuggy was in a small white room. "You are not as easy to kill as I thought." said the voice, "Maybe I will try a more conventional method." A laser shot out and pierced Yuggy in the chest. He staggered back, dying. This was the end, and Yuggy knew it. he saw a machine and he knew this was the voice. He also saw it's wires. Yuggy had one last plan. He dragged himself over to the wiring and used his only remaining weapon, he bled on the wires. The Red Water short circuited the machine. "How!?" screamed the enraged machine, " I am dying..." It trailed off, silenced for good. Yuggy had killed the heart of the machine. he propped himself up against the cold metal body, and died.

Yuggy then did something he wasn't expecting, he woke up. He was still in a white room, but it was larger. He looked upwards and there was D52, hanging above him. "I never left you Yuggy." said the deep booming voice of D52. "You prayed for me and I couldn't help you. I owe you one wish." "Am I dead then?" asked Yuggy, painfully recreating the scene of him being shot by the laser. "You are dead." replied D52, "Is to live your wish?" "Yes," said Yuggy. "Done," replied D52. Yuggy woke up again. It was the next day. He was alive. He had gone into the heart of the machine and lived and now the machine was no more. He had won.
