When did being gay become an insult? It's perfectly okay to be gay. I'm a bit disappointed in Canada's and US's governments for making gay marriages illegal, but I think recently they made it legal.

Well, it's passed Valentine's day now, so I suggest that someone should lock this topic.

Ced, some countries have these stuff officially based on religion, and most religions don't accept gays, so that's why it's illegal in some places. in Israel too, lol. there's exactly one, and only one, thing that rabbis are in charge of here, and that's marriage. that's why it's so stupid, and many people choose to marry themselves, without being officially married...these include, and obviously are not limited too, gay couples.

In the US, there's no federal law one way or the other. Individual states have all sorts of laws, some for and some against. And last I knew, gays usually go to Canada from the US to get married, so idk about that one.

The US state Washington recently legalized gay marriage, which is probably what Ced is thinking of.

Gay marriage is legal in Sweden, of course.

The Netherlands was the first country to legalize gay marriage, of course.

And Rocket, we are entering a new era in homosexual emancipation. No longer is homosexuality a sin, it is now a joke. Pretending to be gay is funny now.
I am straight, though I wouldn't mind being gay. Spending the rest of my life with a fellow dude seems far more attractive to me than spending it with a girl.
