Remember that the membership of the Interguild spans four continents in total, only two of which are connected by land. Where would all of these members stand in terms of status and location if they all lived in the Mongol Empire during the reign of Genghis Khan? How would they have met each other? Would any of them find a way to alter history as we know it? Would any of them ever meet Genghis himself in person? In this thread we shall discuss all of these questions and more.

Due to no-one having computers, we'd have to build our HATPC levels in the real world and make people run through them themselves. Unfortunately, no-one except you would survive any of them, meaning that the only cave ratings would be made by you. You would also be the only member left alive, meaning you'd also be the only cavemaker. The community would inevitably converge to yourself making caves for yourself to play and then rate.

Another possibility is that building a cave and resetting it after someone had set the traps off would take so damn long that no-one would ever finish a cave. The result would be a desolate community whose members would do nothing but work on unfinished caves until they died.  

First we must establish the way by which the members of the Interguild would have met each other if they had all been born in the Mongol empire during, or shortly before, the reign of Genghis Khan. Genghis Khan, then known as Temujin, became the ruler of the Mongol Empire in 1206 and would reign until his death in August 1227. We will, at first, base the timeline of our story on his reign, but keep in mind always that our story may continue until well after his death.
