I think we need a competition to boost activity a wee bit.

I'm all for new activities... I could potentially be a judge, since I don't have minecraft... but if people could like post a video tour along with pictures... that would work.

Underground building theme!

Build a tower completely out of TNT, then blow it up.

I like the visual puns idea, but that might be hard to come up with ideas for.

The underground idea sounds awesome, though.

I thought the Nether was reserved for Survival...

Who said we can't have a survival-based comp?  Though, building something aesthetic in the Nether would be a pain.

Challenge: Make an optical illusion.

I still think Survival gets too little love.

Survival Builds tend to simply equal time spent rather than creativity.

I think a better question is, why are you getting ads?

How about a best roller coaster contest?

Or, instead make an amusement park in a corner of the world and make an amusement park ride contest

That would work too.

Then there should be an artistic aspect to this, too.

I like the idea of another "everyone build in the same area" contest. We already did a city, so an amusement park would work well. We could also do a town theme, where instead of building skyscrapers, we build homes. It'd actually be pretty cool if there was a street on the server that had everyone's homes on it, but it's kinda too late to do that since most people already built a home.

Well, most people probably already have homes, but that still doesn't signify a reason not to build another. You don't have to LIVE there, it could just be an extra.
