By clicking the ? next to a posts' total karma, you'll be led to an article that'll go a bit more in depth about the karma system.

So yeah, it's not PMS, and it's not the Hug System, it's the Karma System.

alright I finished a couple of glitches. Right now it's Monday night, so I'll finish the delete-vote page tomorrow, and I'll also add karma stats throughout the site.

Also, be wary that Karma: 0 doesn't mean that the author of that post has a total karma of 0, it just means that the post you're currently viewing has 0 karma. For instance, I just gave Quirvy's post a +1, but his other posts will most probably just say that he got 0 Karma points.

EDIT: Oh yeah, I forgot. If you got any suggestions, feel free to tell us about them, seeing as this is something we want you guys to take seriously. For example, if you want to be able to add a comment anonymously along with your vote, tell us!

Maybe I'll add something that'll display the total votes. Since there's no room, maybe I'll make it show up when you roll over or something.

and I don't think adding anonymous comments is necessary especially if a bad post will usually meet all sorts of open criticism from everyone

oh yeah I also forgot that if you delete a post, your total karma won't get reset to the way it was, so watch what you say

Yeah, we noticed that. We're discussing it on the mod forums, trying to figure out if there's a bug, or something, or if you made some crazy good post that nobody knows about, lol.

Presently, karma votes on topic starters don't count toward the total. Hopefully this'll get fixed soon.

well, I'll fix this. but according to my code, there's no reason why topic starters shouldn't be updating the user's karma.

well, I found the glitch, but should we try updating his karma or should we just not care? It's kind of a hassle to recalculate his karma. but it's only a few points

Only a few points? Accel, the maximum amount of points is currently 14, when looking at ALL users, and you reckon that -4 isn't a lot then?

Recalculate now if you can't automatically.

well, I'll need to make a code to recalculate it, so I guess I might as well save that code and stuff it into the mod powers incase we ever need to recalculate anyone's karma again.
