Highlights of the Week
--Not much happened this week that I can remember, except the fact that Quirvy has changed his name back to Quirvy.
--Last Saturday, I made a small edit to the CaveList so that a star comes up next to any levels that are in your favorites, and I also made the coding more efficient.
--On Tuesday, Gravity Grid has been accepted into our system.
--Also this is the last weekend I have before I start school again on Monday. Meanwhile I'm spending these last few days completing some unfulfilled summer resolutions, mainly the one that involves making some real progress on Aeon. In fact, there's been a real spike in Aeon discussion and ideas this week. And then on Wednesday, I actually started some real work that wasn't just a bunch of tests. Between Wednesday and Thursday, I made a ton of progress in Aeon already. I've been posting about it on my Aeon Update Thread.

Oh and I forgot to mention this in the last update: Last week on Monday, I added a new bbcode tage for spoilers. I made the announcement in a regular topic instead of a news post because I was going to put it into the weekly update, lol. Anyway, here it is:

Guides
Krotomo wrote a short Line Rider guide: Line Rider Elevator.

Levels
There are 24 new levels this week:
Straight Forward by shos: In this Red Remover puzzle, I found the beginning to be annoying, but jell rated it an 8.2, so it must be good.
Krotomos Free Fall by krotomo: A basic but interesting HATPC level, which features traps based on free-falling.
GlitchFest by Ck: This is an N level by Ck, which he describes as: "A DDA that compiles almost all of the glitches in N. Prepare to be amazed at what you don't know." That sounds cool, but I can't believe I, or anyone else, hasn't tried this yet.
Free Fall EXTREME by krotomo: Seems like a sequel of kro's last HATPC level. I haven't tried it (I actually haven't played many levels this week), but I'd just like to point out the irony in that: Shos said it was boring for him, while Quirvy believes it was too hard. Of course...
Death Traipse by Yaya: Yaya has placed this HATPC level into his "Too Hard" series after finding out how evil his cave was from feedback. Except shos thought it was amazing and he gave it a 9.2 because he enjoyed it so much.
N: The Phantom Drone by Ck: In this N level, CK exploits a glitch involving laser drones.
N: Invincibility Glitch by Ck: Another glitch-feature level by CK, except this one features "How not to be killed by rockets. Also used to produce the level paranoid glitch." He's apparently going to write a guide with Isa on such N glitches, but first we have to wait for Isa to return..
Speedtrick 1 by Florida: This is a timing-intensive Red Remover level by Florida that has made and it has received pretty good feedback so far.
Ballgame 1 by Florida: I thought this was a really cool Red Remover puzzle. And it's not very hard either.
Slick and Quick by krotomo: This HATPC level has yet to be tried by anyone. Meanwhile I will point out how this level has the "lamest lame name in the history of all lamest lame names for lavender levels", as krotomo describes it.
Free Fall For Beginners by krotomo: Quirvy describes this HATPC level as "way too easy, even for a beginner."
Take Apart the Devil by goldfun4: An interesting Red Remover level that is more artwork than an actual level. But that topic just seems to be filled with bad sarcasm.
Hanging by krotomo: The first level in kro's new series for "Pointless Free Rider 2 Tracks.
Disfigured Truck by krotomo: Another "Pointless Free Rider 2 Track" brought to you by kotomo.
Unicycle Auto by krotomo: A unicycle automatic Free Rider 2 level by krotomo, that I found to be generic.
Predator by jebby: This looks like a really cool HATPC level which was designed to be enjoyed by both new players and skilled players by the varying difficulty options. Received good feedback so far.
Mindless by jebby: Jebby's attempt to make a Gravity Grid level. I couldn't be it, but of course, shos can...
The Caver Blues by Yaya: Yaya's latest entry in his Creativity Slump series (the first of which was Caver Angst, back from January), and it's been directly affected by the negative feedback from how hard Death Traipse was.
PINBALL! by krotomo: A Red Remover level where kro basically messes around with the game. Not really a level.
PINBALL II by krotomo: Same thing as before.
So Obvious by krotomo: A nice basic Red Remover puzzle brought to you by krotomo.
I'm getting tired of this... by krotomo: Another basic Red Remover puzzle, except it's more about fast clicking than puzzle-solving.
Rain Cloud; Rain Cloud by canadianstickdeath: Lol, this Red Remover level is just crazy. You should try it out just so you can see how evil it is.
Way to go! by shos: This is a very cool Red Remover level by Shos. In fact, I think it's the best level that anyone of us has made for that game so far.

Videos
There are 5 new videos this week:
The Free Fall EXTREME glitch by krotomo: This is probably one of the weirdest glitches we have encountered in HATPC. And that's saying something.
How Hardcore is hatpc Hardcore by Ck: This truly is HATPC HARDCORE. And this is just a vid from its opening trap
Krotomos Climb and Treasure Trivia by krotomo: A great walkthrough for two great caves.
Death Traipse Walkthrough by shos: A 10-minute, walkthrough of Yaya's Death Traipse, as recorded by shos. It sure is interesting to watch, if you can mind the slowness.
??6 by krotomo: By the way, if you're looking for "?? 5", and scroll down to the fifth post. Anyway, this is just some more stop-animation randomness from kro.

Future Stuff
The biggest thing on my mind right now when I look into the future is Aeon. Now that I've made substantial progress in it, I will probably have to put effort into NOT working on it, as supposed to working on other, more immediate stuff, such as the much-needed video archive revamp, which I have not even touched yet.

Oh yeah, and there's also IO Judging, which we really need to hurry up on. The fact that jebby never wants to play N again along with Isa's absence are both delaying judging. Not only that, but I haven't been online that much this week, and now jell is leaving and won't be back til Thursday.

Now that I am done with this post, I can say that it took me a little over two hours to write this. But that's taking into account the fact that for almost all of these levels and videos, I had only just looked at them for the first time right now.

Glitchfest isn't possible in the old N. You'll have to open it from Nreality. Maybe that's the reason why no one posted. =x
