so no IO results for a week now? =\

well, at least let's have jell's comp judged.

Damn, I want the Io results.

The IO is so un-olympic like.

lol, that's so true xD in the Olypics, you get the winners immidiately after the race. here, well, it's more similar to our caving elections. you start it somewhen, and end it...eventually...

I thought this was a terribly-written update. I know you've got things to do, but when you end your post with 4 paragraphs that all start with either "Oh" or "BTW". That's just bad writing. The two before that start with "Also", so it just feels like the whole post is thoughts that were tacked on to the end, so you wonder where the real content was to start with...

The worst part, though, is when you say, "The IO has been judged and I'll release the results right after this!", getting everybody excited, and then turn around and say, "I'm going on vacation, so I have no time to release the results," at the end of the exact same post. Come on!

And yeah, what CSD said. Maybe I'll edit it for you.

If the IO has already been judged fully, than can't another staff member release the results, or is it that because the IO is so big, that only Accel can?

And I agree; Come on, Livio! What was that! You first say that you will release the results immediately after finishing the weekly update, and then you just get too lazy and decide not to?! That's an automatic -1 karma in my book

or it would be if we could karma rate news posts. People who argue that "it would give mods an unfair advantage" can kiss my rear end.

Ya, I'd say 75% of the time in Livio's case it'd unfairly decrease his karma.

I don't think it's really fair that we give Livio a hard time over this. He is under no obligation to write these updates at all, or even to continue to run the site. I don't mean to contradict myself from earlier; the writing is still terrible, but I can't really blame Livio.

Livio is the man for the job though, if he's on the Interguild and something happens he usually knows of it, but no matter who writes the updates, there'll still be too much to cover for one person. Perhaps assign jobs to write certain parts. A person for levels, a person for competitions,  a person for Aeon, a person for Interguld events and a person for other news.

I've almost finished judging the special judging section, so with any luck, I might be able to post the results. No guarantees.

When this is featured news, you know that absolutely NOTHING happened.

I don't know if anyone but Livio can release the results, actually. There might actually need to be some work done on the way that competitions work in order to release them, this being our first tournament-like comp and all.

lol I don't even know what happened. One second I was going to start working on releasing the IO results, then I lost interest and the next thing I knew I didn't have time to even remember to edit that post.

I actually went to Mexico. There were people visiting us here in Arizona, and my dad really wanted to show them Rocky Point.
