Dando
The account, Dando52, is not to be mistaken with the actual user, Dando. Dando led a revolution in general, trying to gain the support of levels that are fun to play, as opposed to levels that are difficult to beat and require a large amount of skill. On the old interguild forums, her username was Dando52, but when the transition between sites was made, she changed her username to a simpler, Dando.

The First Appearance of Dando52
When the new Interguild site was first released, the moderators were worried that some poorly regarded users would turn to posing as a veteran user when the new site was released. jellsprout took note of this, and chose to play a little prank on the staff members. On December 13th 2009, he created an account called Dando52. Mods were outraged by this, and demanded to know who it was. Shortly after, jellsprout casually confessed to being its creator, and posted the password to it on the staff forum in case any staff members wanted to use it as a testing account. The account was later deleted by Livio, alongside with other fake accounts that had accumulated.

The Second Appearance
The Interguild was home to two different testing accounts at the time: InterBot and Intertester (now Captain Obvious). Jellsprout supposedly wanted to perform tests that specifically required the use of a non-moderator, but believed that Quirvy had taken over both testing accounts, and changed their passwords from what they were originally set at.

At this point in time, Staff Members were split up into two groups: Administrators and Moderators. Administrators had the power to change a user's password, but Moderators did not. Without the power to change the either of the testing accounts' passwords, and apparently unwilling to ask Quirvy what the password is, or for Livio or Isa to change the password, he decided to recreate the account, Dando52.

The Commandeering of Dando52
Livio was on a temporary leave of absence, and could not delete the account. Isa, despite being an administrator, did not have the power to delete accounts, and also could not dispose of it. Quirvy, bothered by the unnecessary resurrection of the account, proposed that Isa change the password to the account so that he could taunt jellsprout using it. Isa agreed to it, and it was done.

However, there was one minor problem: It was very hard for both Isa and Quirvy to have knowledge of the password at the same time, without jellsprout knowing what it was, too.

You might say, "Well, you could just send Private Messages to eachother..."
But at this time, private messages were not nearly as private as one would have thought; a hole in the reported PM's system allowed staff members to be able to view Private Messages by their ID number. All jellsprout needed to do to view a recent PM discussing the password change of his testing account, was send himself a PM through one of his later created testing accounts, report it, view the reported PM change, and lower the ID of the private message until it reached the desired message regarding the password change.

If you do not understand that last sentence, all you need to know is that jellsprout had the capability of searching through recent Private Messages in the event of Dando52's password changing, making communicating through Private Messages unsafe. And this in fact, did happen. Once Isa and Quirvy had taken control of the account, Jellsprout used this hole in the system to find out what the password was, and retake his testing account.

Despite this, Quirvy and Isa continued to communicate through private messages. Isa, realizing that the private messages were not safe, told Quirvy that he would soon make a new forum where they would be able to chat freely about the takeover.

Isa, however, knew that jellsprout would read the private message and search for this secret forum. So, to prevent him from finding it, he created a decoy forum that jellsprout would stumble upon, and falsely believe it to be the secret board. The ID of this decoy forum was 49; the ID of the secret forum was 56.

The Actual takeover of the account took place on May 31st of 2009.

Battle for Control Over the Account
Jellsprout regained control of Dando52 the day after, likely through PM spying. As a result of this, Isa chose to enact his plan to create a secret forum, and a decoy forum, on June 2nd. This was at first successful, and both canadianstickdeath and jellsprout had initially believed that they had found the secret forum, which they had heard about in the private message exchange between Isa and Quirvy. Quirvy poked fun at both canadianstickdeath and jellsprout for spying on their private messages when he sent a private message to Isa stating "Decoy PM." 3 minutes after it had been sent, canadianstickdeath posted in the decoy forum, "Lol @ decoy PM."

Although the decoy forum was initially successful, on June 4th, jellsprout and canadianstickdeath had found the true secret forum. Despite this, Quirvy and Isa maintained control of the account, as Quirvy realized that although they could view their messages, they could not view the PM subject. He and Isa used this to their advantage.

However, the drama all ended on June 7th, when Isa, annoyed by the struggle for control of Dando52, and just the entire plot in general, changed the password without informing either of the 2 what it now was.

The Interguild Takeover
Dando52(Quirvy) created topic in the announcements forum called D52 IS TAKING OVER, declaring that she was to take control of the interguild due to the absence of Livio. She made several demands:
  • canadianstickdeath(referred to as "canadianstick...") was to ban Haily and Livio, and then have a fight to the death with jellsprout to decide who would become her eternal love.
  • Isa was to promote Dando52 to an administrator.
  • Competitions were now to be decided by who can "kiss the most bum, and hand out the most karma to me."
  • canadianstickdeath was to make the chatbox a moderator exclusive feature.
  • Private messages were to be constantly monitored. (this order poked fun at the hole in the reported private messages system, which allowed Moderators and Administrators to view private messages not sent to them. This order would also come true, as canadianstickdeath and jellsprout would be monitoring PM's to keep tabs on conversations going on between Isa and Quirvy)
  • Every active member was to have a bunny as their avatar.
  • Shos' Playground (a mod forum which not all mods had knowledge of) was to be leveled and replaced by a military base.
Later on, Dando52 would also demand that:
  • Shos put on a green dress.
  • Dando52 was to be addressed General Overlord, in response to a demand by the real Dando that they be addressed by the name Overlord.
  • An article describing Dando52's greatness was to be written and released to the public.
  • Jellsprout's Moderating powers were to be removed. (this was in response to him retaking Dando52)

Dando52's Avatar

One would think that this entire plotline would fail, as no demands would be met, and no one would play along, but Quirvy changed every active user's avatar to a bunny immediately following the takeover. A decent amount of users played along, and even Shos, who refused to cooperate with her demands, ended up contributing the the scheme, as he engaged in a multi-page argument between himself and Dando52. Dando52 gained more karma in her takeover than many users even had at that time, and in fact, gained 6 karma for her opening post.

Quirvy and jellsprout both lost access to the account on June 7th. Dando52 lost power June 8th, when Livio returned to a bunny-infested interguild, and declared that he had reclaimed total power over the interguild.

Post-Takeover
The Dando52 takeover had become rather popular among the interguild members. This combined with the fact that a moderate number of posts were made under Dando52, led to the interguild staff choosing to preserve the account. However, to prevent further shenanigans, the account was handed over to Livio, and kept out of reach from the rest of the staff, assuring no further power struggles between Quirvy, Isa and Jell would ensue. It is believed that during a period of Livio's inactivity, the true Overlord retook control of the account, although not much is known, and there is some speculation that the account no longer exists due to its absence from the members list.

Another interguild member, Thomas, began using Dando52's avatar. Dando52, angered by this, demanded that he surrender his avatar. He did not comply, and then declared that he would only do so if he lost a poll to decide who would get to keep the avatar. Dando52 agreed, and created a timed poll in the staff forum. Thomas lost 3-0, with votes for Dando52 coming from Quirvy, Dando52 and Livio.

Thomas, declared the poll invalid, and held his own poll, where he lost again, 12-7. Following this, he was forced to use an avatar which stated, "I am not worthy of this avatar."

While that was going on, Dando52 had also created a new topic, parodying Ask Sprout and Ask Catta, titled as Ask D52. If you were to ask Dando52 a question, there was a chance that she would respond to it by giving you an answer, but there was also a high chance that she would respond with "Next Question", especially if she did not know the answer or if the question attacked her greatness. It was openly a parody of an NFL agent, Drew Rosenhaus, who held a press conference where he refused to answer most of the questions asked towards him.

At the same time, Dando52 also embarked on a mission to take over the internet. She reportedly took over the Lumscat forums, an unsuccessful forum created by cedric_09_, took down the no-wii club, another unsuccessful forum made by a previous member, took over the old interguild forums, took control of IceCaves.net, and is believed to be trying to overthrow the Mexican Government at this moment, although it is unknown how this is related to taking over the internet.

You can't send messages to yourself, so you have to send them to another account. I suggest Interbot? Any member can do this, by the way, not just Mods like with the reported PM's, so in a way, it's worse.

Perhaps I should tell everybody this, lol.

I would provide a detailed description of the process that CSD is talking about, and then explain why it requires too much effort to want to actually use the method, but that probably wouldn't be a good idea.

but we still need a near zero G guide: http://interguild.org/articles/?id=49
I know very little about the near Zero G glitch, and therefor, I am not qualified to make such an article. If anything, that should probably be combined with the main Zero G article.

And is this the glitch that you're talking about:

There is also a sporadic lag that occurs in the physics of the game just before the Zero G glitch is activated, when there are still only 58 objects in endless motion.
Cuz if so, I don't see what else there is to say about it.

Well I don't think one exists right now. Maybe it's yours to write?

Somebody changed the old url censors to the new url tags but didn't include the http://www. that the old url censors used to have to contain, so that the auto url thing didn't interfere with the links.

Blaim? How's your spelling?

And it should please you to know that his "abuse" of making his chatbox name a non-link has ended, because Livio improved the chatbox. Now please change the censor back.

There's no need to change the censor back, it's working now, and it's probably better off implemented this way.
