The problem with the internet is that you can read expression on peoples faces... so if we were all in a room downing beer you'd be able to see if I'm telling the truth.

And about sniper, he seemed incredibly willing to get rid of me, saying  'I just don't like his attitude, so even if his is town I feel like lynching him.' which isn't the point of mafia... you don't lynch the most annoying you lynch the most suspicious. But this is your first game, right?

Another thing: submissive people. Don't just say 'oh im voting for him/her/it because of what so and so said', and even if you do agree with what they say, add some more reason. (hypocrite detected! name: ****)

I have read through this topic (now that I know it is here, sorry guys ) and it seems that most things from earlier on have been resolved so I will only comment on what I have some opinions on.

Snipe's Narrative

Regardless of what the narrative says or whether it is separated from the rest of the post with bold text it is still only narrative and not a lot can be drawn from it especially as it is clear that it is made up and not role related. Shos said he thought Snipe was town because he mentioned a desk in the narrative, what kind of argument is that? Maybe if I mention desks then it will be clear which side I am on...

Soccer on Pg 6

The posts leading to Thomas' Obvscum comment were all surface reactions without much thought put into them which is why I think Thomas mentioned obvscum as scum tries not to think to hard incase they incriminate themselves. The biggest flaw in Soccer's posts is:



Because we all know that you can bluff not knowing a role so that it appears that you are not that role. If he wants people to think that jazz is not a jester he is possibly suggesting people should vote for Jazz and this makes Soccer safe for at least today if he is scum.

All I can say about Thomas in all of this is that knowing how irritating he is in other games he seems to be playing his own style again which is a cryptic close hand, but I feel he is still a useful and lethal player due to his insightfulness. Soccer on the other hand has made some slips whilst stating the almost too obvious.

The whole Jazz thing (Including post just before mine)

Jazz has been acting very peculiarly from the start with posts claiming he's viacom which isn't a good start for deciding where to place him in the game. Then the "it doesn't matter if you lynch me" (excuse the general paraphrase) argument seems dodgy, possibly particularly to me as I thought of trying to use it once when I was scum. If you can convince people that you aren't really eager to stay alive and that if you are lynched then it should be a small loss for the town because you have a mediocre role then you try to ride along as a pseudo-vanilla townie and seem generally helpful when people ask things, but stay pretty secluded.

There are several other things, but moving on to the lastest in a series of scummy Jazz posts. I will try and annotate a quote of it without getting lost.

Ninja'd by SHOS so @SHOS' second post (no way I am reading the monster above it) I'd add that I don't think it is a scum slip more that he's being cautious not to enforce his truthfulness on us which some people like me find worse.

Also if I find out after reading Shos' post that this all obsolete now then I will not be a happy camper

Yes but if he was town he wouldn't need to or have to try to fit in. He just never does anything himself, aside copying people possibly because he is scared and wants to be part of the crowd rather than singled out, which is safer for a mafia member as he cannot be accused for bad reasoning as he just agrees with stuff other people say first, rather than making his own accusations. Also I do not nessecarilly think he is 100% mafia, he has just been acting scummy.

Actually, a policy lynch is possible. I think that even if you are town, you hurt us more than help. So, barring a more likely scum target, my end vote day 1 is on you.



I consider separating them important so as not to confuse people. It makes it organized and clearly shows what's what, so no one would ever think that the narrative directly affects the game. If at some point the story portion of my interpretation becomes annoying, say so. (This last goes to everyone).

Also, that jester reason is just silly.

I only think there's a chance of you being the staff mafia, Shos because you're one of the more active staff members in this game, and in the past games, the Godfather or whatever usually stays active to seem more innocent. But it's not like I'll vote on you solely because of that.

It was the FoS that made me suspicious mostly, not the bandwagoning as he has done that before. I will keep an eye on him but for now I think it was just a missunderstanding and he has been proven to bandwagon even when he's town.

I didn't say anything about roleclaiming in that post. You really want me dead, right?  I did not explicitly say 'roleclaiming' when I said 'information is key'. Information=/=roleclaiming. Information can se presenter in many forms (whats se presenter in english?) Whether its play style (which is unreliable), arguments (also unreliable) .

I don't think it's very scummy of Silver. My posts could have pushed her over the edge and she decided to FoS me. I think she didn't vote because frankly, it was only a day since the game has started when my vote count went L-1. And I know that one of the people who attempted to lynch me is a mafioso because they generally hop on the same train as autres to not be suspicious. You know, like at the riots in June, it started with a bunch of trouble makers who planned out the whole thing. Then others joined it. It's kinda like that.

@harumbai: thomas has a reason for why i'm "obvscum".

Wait, sniper has a point. If I die and flip mafia, that will help the group. If I die and flip town, that will narrow down the suspects. The only downside is that you lose a player. Works for you, with the added bonus of the satisfaction of lynching me, and sucks for me who goes to the graveyard. Yeah, I see how you like that.

Shave. Following the others paths is not good. Even if they completely convince you you still need to keep an open mind and wonder if those who have convinced you are wrong. There's always a chance that they could be wrong.

Anyways, right now I'm going with Jell sprout because I don't see him much now... maybe he's spying on this conversation planning something?
