We are creatures of habit.  Maybe you put one leg in your pants before the other.  Maybe you put your milk in your bowl before you put the cereal in, or possibly the other way around.  Perhaps you always go to a specific site before you do anything else when you get on the computer.  Or possibly you sit down in your bed be for laying down completely.  Do you listen to music when trying to fall asleep?  Do you put your pants on or shirt on first?  Do you comb your hair to the left or the right?  All of these are habits of ours, though some of them arguably the most efficient way to do things.  I mean, come on.  You put the cereal in the bowl first.  All these are serious things, and should not be taken lightly.
Even still, among all these questions, an important one remains.  A question that has puzzled great minds and thinkers.  Plato himself admitted to not knowing.  Aristotle confessed to giving up.  Still, we ponder these great mysteries of the world as though we will one day find the answer.  Yet, maybe the answer is in us already.  In our daily habits.  In our breakfast.  So now, I ask you.  

What side of the bagel is the best: the rounded side or the flat side?

The flat size is not as shiny, and actually looks a little bit burnt in that particular picture.

All I ever eat is bagels, lol. I'm not joking, I have generally 5-7 bagels a week (with 6 being the most common).

The bottom is clearly better and anyone who says otherwise is a fool.

Being shiny and more round doesn't make it superior. The flat part is more compact, and I like that.

In unrelated news, I think that the left leg goes into the pants before the right one does, but it's been a while since I've put on long pants.

When putting on shirts, it's best to put both legs through the neck-hole at once, that way you don't fall over.

Clearly, the flat side is the best because you can put stuff on it without it falling off.
Although the round side does have the advantage if you accidentally leave your bagels out of the bag and they get hard. Then, you can use the round side as a spare tire.
