I expect this idea to have been suggested already, but I'm putting it out there just in case it hasn't.

Something I always wanted in HATPC was to have crates that could fire off more than one arrow at once. For example, you want to set off two arrows, one going left and the other going right. In HATPC, you have to build an up arrow, a space and then a dynamite with two side arrows on either side. This idea would reduce it to one crate that you have to hit that sends off two arrows.

In larger traps, there could be four-arrow crates to condense traps.

Thoughts?

can't remember if we approved this or not, but we'll probably end up doing it anyway.

also, if we approved diagonal arrows (I think we did) we could have a ton of different arrow crate combos. the best way I see it is to just not make all of them. Maybe only make arrow combo boxes as long as the arrows inside them stay perpendicular to each other. which means there would be now arrow combo crate that contains a straight and diagonal arrow

omg it's jebby! +karma for being here! XD

this is a nice idea. but i haven't been updated about the new game for a long time so perhaps it really has been offered. although...if we have diagonal arrows, that'll be 8!/6!+8+2*8!/(5!*3!)+8!/4!^2 options for miltiple arrow crates. if you know some numbers, that is a hellovalot, so perhaps we should only make multilpe arrows for nondiagonal ones or sumtin...

Well, last time they rejected my diagonal arrows idea. I'm not sure if they would have a change of mind. Speaking of the game,.. when is it gonna end?

Yeah, I think we rejected diagonal arrows because of how confusing they'd be to newbs or something.

Oh, yeah, and I support jebby's idea. I think I already thought of it, which means that it may have been suggested by someone else previously, but it'd make trapmaking a lot easier.

I thought that we would accept diagonal arrows on the basis that it destroys anything that might get in its path (so it won't go through corners or anything) and if it hits two tiles at once then it destroys them both

I still dun like it.

So if it hits a corner it destroys BOTH objects? Huh? I mean, maybe if we go with mini-missles or something, but still...

or we could make it hit whichever one is closer to the bottom of the screen or something, but that would get more compicated

I agree. but does that mean we give up diagonal arrows completely, or jus make it a side topic, apart from the multiple arrow crates?

No, I mean, I'd just rather not have diagonal arrows regardless of whether or not we use jebs idea.

Really, I see no need for an arrow crate with arrows in it for different directions. It's extra work for us to make them all, and it's just for something that you can pretty much do already, with a dynamite crate and a little space.

I mainly rejected diagonal arrows, because I thought it was a dumb idea.

And you know what else, I reject the idea of talking about the new game, since it's never going to get made.

No, CSD actually said that. Which doesn't surprise me, cuz he never honestly thought we'd be able to do it.
