A while ago on the old interguild, I made a topic called "Should I leave or stay?". I wasn't quite sure whether I should leave or not, so I made a topic about it. Dando made up a rule about not being allowed to ask other members in a topic if you leave or not right after I made the topic, and I learned my lesson. Isn't Thomas doing the same thing, except with banning not leaving?

I don't think so. It's a grey area - he wants to stay on the site, but is open towards a banning of himself. I still think it's not something that we can explicitly ban, though.

Hey I finally got the big text to work.

The rule is against fishing for attention. If you make a post telling people you're going to leave just so that you can get sympathy and get people to ask you to stay, then it's against the rules. Thomas isn't doing that.

Oh, I see. I'm way over attention-seeking though.  

If Thomas went, we wouldn't have fun picking on him and minus-karma-ing him, but we'd be relieved.

If he stayed, we'd all be annoyed, but we'd have fun picking on him and spamming minus karma.
(...Something like that anyway.)
