Some creepy things in the Pokemon games R/B/G and G/S/C.
Creepy music!
Even more creepy music!

Spoiler:

Very, very, very creepy. But really, link 2 isn't that creepy. It's link 1. After 8:50, it gets SO creepy... don't go further than that unless you really... you know.
Most of the length of the videos is boring, and you might need to keep yourself occupied. However, if you hear strange noises, you will want to look at the video; but... beware of the 2nd strange noise on the 1st video...

Livio, last year for Biophysics, I had to purchase two large books, one about cell biology and one about biophysics. In the end we ended up using about 2 chapters of each book, and I already knew everything in the cell biology book because I followed Biology in high school, and we won't ever use either of them again. And for the course Advanced Calculus I had two buy two huge books and again we ended up using only 2 chapters of one and 1 chapter of the other, but these books will be used again next year so that isn't a big problem.
And also remember the reason anyone bothers to buy these books when you have the internet and old exams to study: they look so neat in your bookshelf.

Lol, I NEVER buy the book, unless:

1. There's test coming and I haven't been paying attention.
2. They assign problems from it... jerks.

Does anybody here have Chip's Challenge? It's quite an old game, and it was included in some Windows Entertainment packs. Does anybody who has the game know how to complete that brain-buster 'Cake Walk'?

I think I beat it once... IDK how... or if I actually did. Lol, should we add that game? There are places around the internet where you can download it and a level editor.

I don't know. I just beat that hell of a level, and I'm on... a level with only force floors. Excuse me, but I need to throw up.

Also, some of my levels are getting considered for CCLP3! Yay! (It's a sequel of CCLP2, which itself is a fan made sequel of CC.)

soccerboy13542's Blatantly Apparently Boy's recent thread got me thinking about when I started the Ask Captain Obvious thread way back, and I remembered that I didn't make it because I thought it would be really cool to have a thread where Captain Obvious answered questions with really non-informative/obvious answers. It was actually made because I was really tired of neezles' failure of an ask for help topic, and I wanted to make her jealous of Captain Obvious' success. It worked out really well, especially because the first question/answer on the thread was this:

'a_neezles_a' said:
Do you think you're better than me at advice giving?
'Captain Obvious' said:
Obviously! You've asked more questions on your thread than you have answered!
While it was a good line, I couldn't help but wonder if that's actually true, so I've decided to take a little look in on neezles' old thread.

Spoiler: ''Breakdown of questions and answers with quotes''

The results are in!

9 Questions asked to 6.5 answers given! Neezles did ask more questions than she answered.

If there's a lesson to be learned here, it's that you can trust Captain Obvious, not neezles.

for god's sake if you're a believer and for Chuck Norris' sake if you don't...(well, even if you do, for Chuck's sake), couldn't you at least try solve my puzzle instead of posting useless half-funny posts like that? this is a gaming community after all >_<

Okay, well, first of all, this is a random chat topic, where we can talk about random things. I never knew that us being a gaming community meant that all posts must pertain to gaming, including the ones on the random chat topic.

Secondly, I have played Hydrodynamics before, and I think that it's way too confusing, and that even if I was able to figure out what to do, I would still have a hard time beating your level, because I suck at playing caves. I've tried to solve it, but I can't even figure out how to get into the bottom left corner.

Thirdly, I have freedom to do whatever I want. If I don't want to play you're levels, that's up to me. If you really me to play your caves more, I suggest you make more of them userfriendly. I can't really say how userfriendly your level is, though, since I have no clue what to do in it. I'm not saying that you can't ask people to play you're levels, I do that all the time, but if they don't want to, they don't have to.

Hydrodynamics was fun when I cheated in it. Now it's just really confusing and I know for a fact that I have no shot at solving and beating it, because it even took me a while to find the cheat solution, and then it still took me a while to beat the actual solution.

Quirvy, does that mean you're screenie of the cave in your post was wrong? Because I've been going off that image to try and beat the level. Like you, I can't get into the bottom left corner.

I don't think it's wrong, because shos saw it and said everything looked right, but I cheated the cave to get to that point.

*sigh* what I was trying to say is that making a post like the one you did certainly has to take a while, and really, what was it for. perhaps it makes others laugh, but as far as I'm concerned, this stopped being funny ages ago, the neezles thing. that time you invested there, if you used it to think about my cave, you just might have solved it, you know? i hate it when you see a level, and decide if you play it or not by its creator. oh my god, it's shos, too hard. it's a PUZZLE. don't you think you're up for a small challange? you played the cave when it was cheatable. I updated it since, and from then, you didn't even try. [btw, now that i look at the screenshot, there IS something wrong in it].

it's a freakin PUZZLE, dammit! you rated it 9.6 at first! what point is there in making puzzles if nobody's even trying to figure them out? what's the fun in puzzles if they're not challanging? what's the point in making any levels for this site if nobody's gonna comment on them? did I not invest time playing your caves? It's not that I specifically say all these things to you, but supposing i do, what do you think i will find? in my last levels - in Hydro you cheated and didn't bother trying the real level, you didn't try Gravity maze, you didn't try Oscillations, you didn't try Down We Go, you didn't try Walking About,..you know what, lemme just search for the last level i released that you DID comment on.  nope...nope...nope...oh yes! you commented

pretty decent level
on a Red Remover level that i released just over a year ago. A YEAR. the next one would be triathlon, by the way; in which you had an incredible video about how you die in the first trap. funny.

do you understand why i'm upset here? it's not like you post a big big update about aeon, or some site statistics, or a guide about how to get 50 lives on SMF; you post long, looong posts about the account dando52, the karma war, etc; i'm not against all these, but if they come to replace your serious activity, they shouldn't exist.

You should probably realize that not everyone stays on the Interguild for the levels, and I'm thankful that there's more aspects to this forum than that. Also keep in mind that Quirvy very rarely comments on levels at all. Let him be.

Shos, that was kinda harsh. I don't always look at the Interguild as a gaming community. Sometimes, I just look at it as a place to hang out without leaving my home that has nice people on it.

Shos you have to understand how hard it for us to play your levels. You can say like you did to Quirvy today "I played this for 8 minutes and this is the rating I will give it," but I have tried Hydrodynamics for at least 1 and a half hours and made no progress to speak of. To say that Quirvy is wasting his time maybe true, but if he decided to waste his time posting humourous quotes rather than dying over and over again in a level then that's his decision. He also appeared to give it a good go to the extent of finding another way to beat the level anyway.

K, we get that even though all of us are at different levels of caving ability that usually shos caves are extremely difficult/impossible to everyone except chuck norris.

Now, who likes bacon?

*sigh*...for the thousandth time, it's a PUZZLE, do you know that word? do you know what it means? it means that except for EXACTLY 2 traps (which are so awfully timed, by the way), you do not have a skill challange. in a puzzle you THINK. you look at what's surrounding you, and THINK. if you don't feel like swimming around to look at stuff and jump every 20 seconds to breath, you can use the map generator. this cave should easily be beaten in 10 tries, that is, when you die 3 times swimming into a spike at the start of the cave, 3 more times cuz you fail to jump over an arrow, 2 more times cuz you...well...drown? and 2 extra if you wanna go for the gem?

this is hatpc, not gravity grid. when you look at a puzzle, you usually think BEFORE you do stuff, right? in level 19 did you randomly push boulders until you came out right?
