Quirvy, that's like saying you don't understand why running into birds kill you. I mean, they're just fluffy, little, flying animals, aren't they? I mean, there's no way they could hurt you, and even so.

Hey, I didn't say that we should change the ways that spikes work, I'm just saying that if we're going to complain about how we should be forced to duck to avoid spikes, I think that it's also reasonable to complain about running into spikes

And also, how the hell do you get killed by falling into down facing spikes? If anything you would land on them. This needs to be fixed, guys.

And I agree with egruntz -- if anything, our main characters should actually kill these feeble looking enemies, I mean, come on! It's a freaking bird! What's it gonna do, peck us? Our main character would strangle that bird, and use its eggs to make breakfast. I expect it to be this way in out new game.

And there is no way, squirrel or not, that you'd be able to jump that high in such a manner. I say that our main characters should only be able to jump a half tile high, to make things more realistic.

Also, how does breaking a dynamite crate release lit dynamite into the air.

Gosh, we have so many glitches to fix guys!!

I just hope this idea wasn't thought of before. Anyway, my idea as that you could join a group, (the group has to have a name) anyhow, you could join a group in which everyone in the group plays the same level. (a.k.a. a selected level.) You could chat to other players in the group. The whole point of the group is so that you could plan things out, like, one person hits one arrow, the other hits the other at the right time so you could activate something or do whatever task you have to do complete the trap or puzzle. If one group member dies, then all players lose a life. However, the player who died gets brought to the nearest player. If all the players die at the same time, they get brought to the starting point. If a player gets stuck, then they have to click a button to bring them to the nearest player. ALL the players have to get to the finish to complete the level. If the group loses all their lives, THEN they get brought to the starting point and the level gets reset. Group names and chatting messages should be censored. If all the players get stuck, then they have to all click the reset button. If one player quits, then the group simply keeps playing. The game ends once everyone gets to the door or leaves the group. There should be certain levels for groups and certain levels that are just one player. There can only be as many members in a group as there is different characters.

I like that idea, but the main problem I forsee is not having enough people play the game to be able to have them online and playing that mode at the same time. The problem with timing things between the players is that it may be hard to see what other players are doing, but if every player had a seperate path which unlocked the other players paths it might work.

Yeah that's also a good idea. I was thinking of a mini-map in the corner, so you could see where each player is. The thing is, with aeon, the interguild is probably gonna hopefully boost with members and many people will be playing it. Perhaps there should be multiple servers, too?

that sounds very hard to set up. First we have to figure out how to get online playing to work. But if we can get it to work, it would be really cool to have this as a kind of optional mode that is compatible with any level. And maybe it'll be interesting if we allowed for some local multiplayer as well. Sounds like a fun little extra mode, but I'm not sure if it'll be worth the effort.

There should be something like that, how about a multiplayer? 2 players can play a level and help each other solve it. But the only problem is waiting for another player to come online. Multiplayer >> Wait for Player >> If Player doesn't come, quit or try again >> If player does come select level you need help on >> play level

And maybe one player is the same character with a different palette choice. And you could have a mobile phone when you're stuck you can inform the other player to pick up the phone (pop-up >> Pick up Phone or Ignore >> answers call >> goes to other player)

I got this off Kirby Amazing Mirror.

SUGGESTION - might be silly, but what if instead of arrows, we used LASERS? That could be kind of cool, and could also definitely help set the Aeon environment. I'm not sure though, haha. It could go either way.

I once suggested lasers, but people didn't like how unrealistic it would be for a laser to fly at arrow speeds. I still prefer lasers over missiles, but maybe that's because no one has drawn an awesome missile yet.

It is unrealistic for lasers to fly at arrow speeds.

It is unrealistic for animals to have clothes and to travel through space.

One major thing in games are things you could never do in real life or aren't possible. It is something that makes games fun and unique.

It's unrealistic for arrows to fly at that speed too.

Missiles should be like arrows, but explode... like dynamite, destroying the spaces around it. If we use them, that is.

I think the "Naming Rooms" idea goes hand-in-hand with the multiple terrain idea. They both can help set up some sort of story in the cave.

Especially on main-game levels -- There should be names for things like on most games.

"Underground Experimental Lab"
"Hayzark Outpost"
"Water Facility"

etc. Hayzark is just some random name I came up with. I see this as a cool idea and everyone should approve it

As a physicist, I have to veto lasers. I can handle anthropomorphic animals flying in space, I can handle stuff floating in mid-air, I can handle speeds increasing linearly to a maximum instead of the acceleration dropping exponentially, but lasers not moving at the speed of light? I draw my line here.

Ok, this isn't an idea for the game but an idea for the development. Why don't we split into groups to finish this project? So, we'd have a music department, programming department, level design department and a graphics department?
