True. And if we let them in, then CSD will complain about not getting let in, too.

And if they use Oscillations as a defense, point out that it got 6th out of 7th.

'Livio' said: let's just not allow it for the following reasons:
-we already finished judging and don't feel like reconsidering all of our decisions
That is enough for me.

oh no!!!!
I was expecting Livio to finish judging yesterday, but he didn't, so the results still aren't released, which means that I have to judge all 9 of the Hurdles Competition!!!!
Judging would be a lot more fun if people would make their caves fun. Personally, I'd appreciate more levels like Steel Insanity, where I can at the very least make progress, but I may just be biased, because I made it, and making it might make the traps a little easier for me.
Well, I guess I have a job to get to...

I just wanted to say that I noticed that the Collab Comp has only 1 entry. If there ends up being less than 3, we might want to award points to winners as we normally would, based on the quality of the entries.

Video round, DDA round and massive overlap between the Speed round and other rounds. This will be easier to judge than expected.

I agree with both of you for the DDA Comp.
However, since the Instant replay comp includes a video of mine, I'll refrain from judging that, to avoid bias, like how when shos judged the blog comp, he rated himself just high enough to bump himself ahead of teo_pl's entry, and avoid second to last.

I didn't like Oscillations walkthrough as much. Maybe because the bulk of it was watching shos do some slow and ridiculously evil stuff in his half of the cave. | | Quirvy |

Yeah, I started watching it, got about 4 minutes through, and then was like, "How long is this video"
then I saw that it was 12 minutes long, and there was no way I could be expected to sit through that snoozefest.
Okay, maybe it wasn't a snoozefest, but it felt like it was moving along way too slow.

IO 2010 Pentathlon Round 4 - Steal an Idea
1. Steel Insanity (HATPC) - Quirvy
2. Bombard (HATPC) - Harumbai
3. ReDropped (HATPC) - GF4
4. Theory of Chaos (HATPC) - Livio
5. Traps Appreciation Day (HATPC) - Ckjr
6. Sanitarium (HATPC) - Yaya
7. Choking (HATPC) - guyguyxtreme
8. Imperio_v2 (HATPC) - jorster23
Sanitarium didn't really steal from anything, and Traps Appreciation Day didn't steal an idea but just merely whole traps, so I judged those lower than they would have been in a "no rules" comp.

I thought sanitarium was a takeoff of Imminent Chaos, but it doesn't fit it exactly, so I too am confused. Maybe we should ask him what he's stealing from?
I still dunno if I wanna judge the Steal an Idea competition, seeing as I would probably put myself at first place, since I personally think that Steel Insanity is the best cave I have ever made.
But since Jell put it at first place, I might judge, but I think I still might want to see Livio's rankings first and get his opinion on my cave, so that I can try to get an accurate and non-biased opinion of my cave(which is hard because of how few people outside of the judges have played my cave(Harumbai, Ck, and kind of GF4))
Actually, it would be useful if I could get your opinion, too, Jell.

Don't worry quirvy, I think your cave was the best one in this competition.
And Yaya's looks like it has a lot more effort into it, but I can't place it any higher because it seems to be impossible to pass the top fifth of the cave.
EDIT: hey, jell and I ended up with the same rankings. I hope it's not because I looked at his rankings to get an idea of how good my cave was before I started judging. | | Quirvy |

Then I guess I shouldn't worry about giving an unbiased view, then, since you two appear to agree that it would get first place.
...But I still want feedback from jell
Anyways, if I don't get to it tonight, I'll finish judging the steal-an-idea competition tomorrow morning.
As for the video comp, I'd probably rather avoid that, since I think that the top 3 are extremely close to eachother, and because I have an entry into it. But if I had to...
1. Harumbai - He gets my vote because he did 3 caves
2. GF4 - He gets extra points for changing music for different parts of the level
3. Yaya - his entry was pretty much a really good cave, with music. If it wasn't for GF4's changing music, I would have put him at #2
4. CSD
5. 13542
6. Quirvy, Dando52
7. Shos (I just thought this walkthrough was way too slow and long)
8. Kroto
