Sunday, 1:51am - Silver To all the people wondering what happened to the art thread, I kinda stopped posting because no one really cared about my art, and then eventually took it all down because it was all horrible and crappy and stupid and asdfghjkl;.
Sunday, 1:52am - Silver I was honestly dumbfounded when people were actually worrying about it. Guys don't scare me like that.

I think she's being too hard on herself for her artwork, but I won't press the issue any further, because I don't think it needs to be.


One thing that I've always kind of thought would be interesting, would be if the art thread was more like task oriented or something. Like someone suggests something for people to draw, and they attempt to draw it using whatever, or create it using images from the internet and a little editing. For example, someone might say "make a karma chameleon" and then people would create images of what they imagined a Karma Chameleon, whether they be humor-oriented pictures, or actual attempts at art. Obviously people would still post whatever artwork they'd like, but at the same time it could have that stuff going on in the foreground. I don't think it would work well as an active topic, though, since people aren't just going to be constantly thinking that people should draw something.

Hey now I'm not actually going to stop doing art. That's like trying to take away another person's speech. I only took down all my old stuff on here because it was all horrendous and just plain awful. I probably am going to stop posting it here, though, mainly because the thread's getting clogged up with it and I think everyone's getting sick of it all.

I'm just going to go "screw it" and link to my imgur account because that's pretty much the only place I'm going to put my art now aside from my computer files.

(also by-the-by darvince and flash-marsh please go die in a hell-hole because those things you posted in the you-have-one-post-to topic were really offensive)

I don't think Darvy-poo was trying to be offensive, he was just trying to be funny. Flash, on the other hand, was trying to be a jerk.

I always liked seeing your art, Silver, and I think the fact that this thread got some hate was because you were getting so much karma from it. The fact that you suddenly think all of your art was bad just means that you're improving as an artist and can more clearly see the flaws in your own work. It sounds like you just have a case of little hater syndrome, which affects all creative people.
