In attempt to draw humans properly on my drawing tablet, I ended up making this terrible self portrait. I guess it's fairly well, considering I've always been bad at drawing people xD

While I'll agree that those eyes are clearly not those of a human, I think that overall it looks pretty good.

I think my imgur account will be enough for me!

Btw, I changed the name of it for reasons I will not disclose here, so here's the new link: http://liberetta.imgur.com/all/
I've been doing a lot of image manips of Homestuck panels lately, so there is quite a lot of them now! 20 at this time of writing.

If I may post here, here's a screenshot of what I'm doing at work. I'm very proud of what I've been able to do (I didn't do the UI, so that's why it isn't as good).
Spoiler:

It's still very early though. I cringe everytime I look at the fat guy morph target. So bad. And also the hands! Wtf? My job is never done... lol.

Mainly the volumetrics and the emissive lights (like the headlamps). It'd be cooler if i could post videos, because I mostly do the AI and integrating with the animations/morph targets. I do think the environment artist did a good job, but I do the light (so far). I'll probably also do the post-processing effects.
It doesn't show very well in this picture, but their uniforms also have retroreflective effects on the reflectors.

This is essentially a training sim for coal miners. Various disasters can happen in the mine, and the main character has to decide what to do as the mine foreman.

And you needed an insane computer for that?
Well, are you going to simulate 13 million tons of rock in a cave-in or something?

Yes and yes.
Even with this computer, it takes an hour and a half to rebuild the lighting for the map. Later, I'll be working on making the fire, so that'll be fun.

very nice looking thingie over there. I myself have some pretty neat pictures I made at work as weel, but all those are pictures of magnetic fields/currents etc lol, so I doubt anyone will be interested.

However, I made current flow in a Mobius strip, which was awesome

I think the smoke should be a bit darker - At te moment it looks more like steam from a cooker.

The textures are a bit low-quality. I don't know if that is just the limitations of Unreal 3 since it is a fairly old engine. Also, I think that the fire should be a bit less flat, and should go up higher.

It looks like the fire is in a solid horizontal line, then skips backwards some decimeters, solid horizontal line, skipping decimeters...

The bottom of the fire isn't supposed to look like the other parts of the fire either.

@Flash
We're open source, so technically you could play what we have right now. It wouldn't be very exciting, and you'd have to figure out where we keep our code, but you could

I think I did somewhere.
Basically, it's a training sim for coal miners. Intially, there's a cinematic to show some of the mine and the fire that starts. Some people running around, that sort of thing. Then, it zooms to Harry, who is the PC. Some guy runs up and says there's a fire, and you have to start doing things. Couple of guys are arguing about what to do. You are the mine boss, so you should tell them what to do, although you can choose to just bolt it to the exit if you want. Through the game, your actions are tracked and you get points based on what you do right and wrong according the the mine regulations. There are some though ones, like what do you do if one of your guys is injured? Correct answer: leave him behind. Helping him reduces your odds of survival, and the mine regs are all about self-rescue.
You also have to check things like the CO2 and methane levels, to make sure you don't wander into areas that will kill you. Alternately, you can put on your Self Contained Self Rescuer (SCSR), which is basically an oxygen mask with an hour tank. Problem with it is that once you turn it on, you can't turn it off (because it's not compressed air; it's a chemical reaction). So, even if you aren't breathing it, your oxygen is going down.
Throughout the game, you also are trying to keep your guys motivated to get out. This essentially means resolving arguments between people and encouraging people to keep up/ stop lagging behind/ you're gonna make it and not die horribly.

LIKE OMG GUYS! LENS FLARES FTW! lol
Spoiler:

Also, the fire actually gives off light now.

Those are actually pretty good, Soccer. I know the second I try to draw a snowman, I would fail miserably.

Hey guys
Guess who just grabbed Paint Tool SAI?

I colored one of my scanned pictures! Took about, I don't know, an hour-ish?

(Characters are 2D and Cyborg Noodle from Gorillaz, for the interested.)

Not seeing Noodle's eye(s), so at first I thought you were drawing yourself next to 2D or something, lol (not saying I think you have purple hair). Anyways, I'm kinda scared and curious to see how you would draw Russel since he's kinda bulky and most of your people are skinny.

Why would I do that :U and I don't have purple hair or green eyes lol.

I have no idea how I'd do Russel if I ever went around to drawing him. I can do 2D and Noodle/Cyborg fine though - Murdoc still gives me trouble sometimes, but I'm getting better at him - I'm getting better at most things but I still need to get over the whole tall-skinny-looks-like-a-goddamn-teenager-what-the-hell thing.
