Anyway, I'm playing the 1.9 pre-release (you can grab the .jar file here).

There's a new dimension - the End - and it's really creepy. My game actually ran out of memory when I was in there...

Diamond. Can't find diamond, been serching for ages. D:

Well, diamond is pretty rare. Try looking near lava, or in caves with Slimes running around.

To get to The End don't you have to use Ender Eyes witch take you to a Strong hold? And then you do something or other that I've forgot or something...? Anyways I need to make a new single player world today.  

You can right-click with a diamond sword to go to The End.

Also, I found diamonds without even looking for any! =O But I'm playing Creative so I guess it doesn't matter.

D: Your so lucky, I've been tuneling at bedrock for hours with no luck. Got about 50 iron so far though, lots of redstone, loads of coal and HEAPS of cobble.

Lol, I ALSO found two skeletons trying to kill eachother. xD No joke! When one finished the other off it tried to get me, but I owned it with my diamond sword.

WHOMAGOD. Right click withh a diamond sword!!!!! Is that all?? Thats soooo cool!!!! And it doesn't take any damage? And if you right click again it will take you back to where you came from?

Only in 1.9. And no, you don't take damage, and it doesn't send you back. You have to tunnel down through the ground and kill yourself by suffocating in the Void. Or get yourself mauled by Endermen if you're playing Survival.

BONUS: Right-click in the End with a gold sword and see what happens!

You get there via an end portal in strongholds, which you fix using eyes of ender. At the momment there is no way back apart from dying.

Also, I found free diamonds in a stronghold chest =D ...And a cavespider mob spawner.

I almost never play singleplayer, I always play on an SMP server for obivious reasons, like being able to set your /home.

Obviously the wrong way to look for diamonds. Try looking at levels 16 to 20.

KingSkruffi is right, the right way to do it is to mine at 16-20, that's how I found diamonds on one server.

I apparently couldn't answer that I had no Minecraft bookmarks, or that I have a folder for all my Games and Applications.

Started a new game, Survival mode.

I found some lilypads! Unfortunately you can't use them.

When you hold them in your inventory aren't they just grey and useless? Btw have you seen the NPC's in villages?... TESTIFICATES or something?

They are weird blobs of xoab, that walk around xoabing the ground. Apart from that they are perfectly normal.

Do they do anything if you attack/kill them?

No they just die in one hit. They don't even give you anything.

I found a lava lake in my world!

Heh, I made a real nice mid-Alpha world, but I deleted it in December.
