sniper is right, that is a very long fall. If I remember my really rough physics stuff, that would be about a 4.4km tall building. The Burj Khalifa is only about 0.8 km tall. NEW WORLD RECORD!

He didn't necessarily die at once when hitting the ground, I think, so you're probably looking at a more normally-sized building.

But if we don't assume that he died upon impact, then the possibilities are limitless. Then for all we'd know, he just jumped out of the first story window, and then got beat up by thugs, in which case, although his phone rang, he would have immediately regretted jumping out of the window because he had just spotted the thugs that he was about to land on. The phone call was just a telemarketer.

I think it should be something related to waiting. maybe he proposed or something, and waited for an answer, and getting no answer would make him think it's a no or something so he jumped. then phone rang and he was like NOOOOO so he sent his hands and caught on the window, and after 29 seconds he lost grip??
