hmm. so he has a parachute, and it was badly made or something, or he was waiting on some instructions or something; but then he couldn't wait for some reaso he had to jump quickly, so eh, the parachute saved him for a while but the fall was still a big one and he died. orrrr he had a jetpack, and he missed the phone that told it was low on fuel  | ||||

He was dressed in clothes and he had a belt. He jumped off the highest building in the world. He did not try to slow down his descent. He didn't have time to check the caller. The moment he heard his phone ringing, he immediately regretted jumping. He died shortly afterwards. | ||||

Ok, I'll just give you guys the answer. The reason why it took him 30 seconds to fall was because it was a tall building. He jumped off a building because he thought he was the last person on earth. The moment his phone rang, he realized that someone else was alive. (assuming that it wasn't a telemarketer) Shos or the lieutenant can have it | ||||

kay so uh. imagine you're in a big, big room. it is 1500 meters long and wide, and 100 meters high. 400 meters from 2 corners of the cave,(not near walls), a 100 meters long rope is tied to the ceiling and hangs to the ground. assuming you have scissors, and can survive a 20-meters fall, can you make a rope longer than 100 meters, which you can throw up to the hook in the middle of the ceiling, climb up and get out? ___________ __________ | | | | | | | | | |(rope) (rope)| | ________|you|_____________ | ||||
