Ok so this weekly update is a day late....

But yesterday was my 17th birthday. That's partly why I didn't write the weekly update yesterday...

So last weekend I worked on a ton of things in the level galleries. I added difficulty ratings, options to search by difficulty, options to search and order by the ratings you've given, and the favorites page, which even lets you automatically add levels to it based on your ratings. There are some minor bugs that I still haven't got the chance to fix, though....

Btw, csd uploaded all of the HATPC level codes, and we reached our 2000th entry in the database (that's counting both series and levels). But the HATPC level codes also brought to light a glitch that the automatic glitch scanner isn't working....

As for the rest of the week, I heard it was pretty slow. While I was not here, I finished making the base for a Free Rider 2 preview generator. The only thing I have to do now is decipher Free Rider 2's level codes to make it work. That's not going to be very fun.

But if you check my latest Aeon Update (you have to be logged in to see it, though), I'm making some good progress in it.

Also, judging has gotten moderately farther. Just Isa and me have yet to judge the last two categories, but after we finish that, we're going to decide the winners of some overall awards.

I'm also going to be reforming the awards system soon. It wouldn't be much work, but I'll have to get it done before we finish judging. Good thing I have a three-day weekend this weekend, but too bad I also have a ton of homework...

Not informative enough. You didn't even mention any levels, you could've atleast mentioned some of the better ones.

COMING SOON: A giant meteor. Please.

Once again, Livo, no levels.  You are really starting to disappoint.

Edit: -1 Karma?

I don't think we should expect one person to play all the levels; others should do this. Someone who lives on this site.

But he needs to play only the best of the weeks' levels.

I still don't think he should have to do it considering the other things he has to do.

Yeah, Livio. How dare you celebrate your birthday instead of playing levels and writing 1 sentence summaries about them. I mean, that is so selfish.

QUIRVY

oh wait, he stinks at levels. and at news posts....

Maybe we have two separate weekly updates. One general one from me and one that's all about levels and videos written by someone else

Quirvy's news post was actually pretty good. And perhaps he could work with shos who would just pwn all caves with his bullet-time hacked computer.

I think he's talking about my "Weakly Update", which I wasn't very motivated into making. My serious weekly update was pretty good, though.

Here's an idea! Quirvy checks out the comments of the best levels and then summarises them in the update. No need for him to play anything then!

but that works too. and if he's lazy, we'll just have to fill him with some superpatriotism

Isn't that what he wants to do? I mean, fill people (like CSD) with superpatriotism.

You should work on a N Level Generator instead, I can help you with that. It would be much easier seeing as the code is easy to understand and the levels are of fixed size.

I figured FR2 would be faster because I wouldn't have to deal with so many images. But I forgot about the level code.....

The images are way easier to predict and calculate in N at least, so you really should focus on that.

N has very few images. That shouldn't really be too difficult.
