I can't say for sure since there's no context. If he's just PMing him saying that without bmwsu doing anything, I'd say so, but if there's an actual reason for why he's calling bmwsu an ass then technically I don't believe it's against the rules, even if it is a little rude.

actually, if thomas(or anyone else, for this matter) would send me such a message without explaining or anything, I'd firstly ask immidiate reasoning, and if that's not enough(and it probably won't be) you're gonna be temporarily banned. these stuff are pretty obvious for a serious staff discussion, so I think immidiate suspension is something you should expect. for how long, well, that'll be decided after you're suspended, by the staff.

Well shos, Bmwsu annoyed me with his "He is Thomas.  You can't expect anything good from him." post. If that's even a joke it's wayyyyy too old and it's just getting annoying. So I pm'ed him and it wasn't just a random pm I sent him. After I tried to talk to him then he's being annoying and he decided to post my messages here which is annoying too since I wanted to keep this in private messages.

Last I checked, if somebody is annoying you, it's generally not a good idea to come out and boldly say how much of an idiot they are.  And Quirvy said I should post the "love" PM that I mentioned.

Besides, I took a slight offense to it, because no matter how it's used, I am not a fan of swearing, especially when at somebody else.  You could have simply told me "Please don't say things like that.  It's kind of annoying, and I don't like it."

What, are we gonna need to go to court for this?

Thomas, if you're gonna stay here, you're gonna have to get used to being the butt of jokes.  It's what helps (repeat: helps) this community stay together.

I think you guys are being way too hard on Thomas.

Because the word "ass" isn't censored, it technically isn't considered a swear word by interguild standards, just like hell and damn. If he gets suspended, I would think it would officially be for not respecting other members/sending malicious PMs.

But let me just get a few things out there first:

First of all, Thomas, if you're so tired of people making jokes about nothing good coming from you why don't you take yourself more seriously? Whenever you figure out that a specific person -1'd one of your posts, you go out of your way to tell them that you know it's them, and that you will get payback for that karma rate, and then you usually go on to actually -1 one of their posts, and then when someone berates you for it you criticize them because they're not being nice to you? I mean, come on, Thomas, I think if you get suspended, it should be for being a whiny hypocrite.

Next I'd like to point out that if you want to have a legitimate conversation with someone unrelated to them being an ass, you probably shouldn't start the conversation with "stop being an ass"

I think that the three PMs were taken a little bit out of context because they were presented right next to each other(not BMs fault). If Thomas had sent 3 PMs in a row saying "bm ur an ass" "stop beingg an ass" "im not sending you no more pms cuz ur an ass" then I'd be pretty mad, but at least he tried to have a conversation with bmwsu. With that said:
1. You seem to just want to be using the word ass just because you can. Next time, try saying more interesting things
2. I gave you a much worse runaround today in the PMs and you didn't call me an ass, and I am offended that bmwsu gets some special treatment where he can annoy you more easily than I can. Seriously, what's up with that?

I disagree with shos and don't think a suspension is warranted here, but you might want to think your actions though a little bit better in the future, Thomas.

These people are karma spammers and you won't take action so I will try instead to the best of my ability. That is, get revenge for a minus rate.

Yeah that stuff you said to me sure annoying me but I got mad at Bwmsu so fast because I have never really even talked to him or PMed him I believe and he posts false information about me (even if it may be a joke.) If I had talked to Bmwsu before or somebody else posted that and I had actually talked to this person before then I wouldn't really care.

Also I think this isn't the first time Bmwsu has posted false information about me in the chatbox.

The rate that you are referring to was on a post where you apparently violated the rules of a forum game by making 2 guesses in a row. -1ing someone for not abiding by forum game rules is not karma spamming.

He's probably a repeat offender so just assume I'm getting him back for some other rate he made against me.

the mods can interfere if they see any karma spam; but as quirvy said, you can also try being alittle more normal, it'll only do you good and if someone annoys you, pm them about it, don't curse them

Let it be known that the only reason "ass" isn't censored is because it'd censor words such as bass, assassination, mass, glass and so on.

Thomas, you're the worst offender here, not Bmwsu. You have minimum Karma because of posts like this, this and this. Do you see why you recieve negative karma for that or not?

anyways. it doesn't matter, people here should not be offending any others. if you don't like being called "a mindless bug", you shouldn't be called that way, even if it makes others laugh. if thomas doesn't want stuff to be going on, he should say it, and not respond with 'stop being an ass'.

You're right my karma is really low and I don't care about my karma anymore. It's more annoying that you staff aren't enforcing your rules about karma spamming.

The joke is a year old and nobody is laughing anymore. Before the day people started spam rating me I was "acting normal."
