They cannot get onto your account if they don't know your password. That's the only way to log on. Unlike breaking into a car, you just can't smash your computer screen and hop in someone's account.

Yeah, if you're unintelligent. Don't go on sites that say "free gold", don't go on any suspicious sites that could have keyloggers. Don't give your password to anyone. The End. I played for 5 years, and I even let close friends use my account while I was on vacation, lol. Never got hacked once.

I've shared an account for three years, never got hacked. My friend doesn't play RuneScape anymore, so...

Basically, even if I do get hacked, my friends on this game would give me, say 1mil to start off again, just like I did for a friend.

Have you ever played RuneScape anyway Kooler? Basically, Goldfarmers and Merchclan advertisers (which I don't mind too much) are mainly on F2P worlds, and also in Clan Wars worlds, Duel Arena and Grand Exchange on Trade Worlds. The level of botting is really what worries me. Some slayer tasks you simply can't do because they are full of bots, such as Black Demons. I also hate Yew Tree bots, Firemaking bots, and finally Yak and Giant Spider bots. But, the trick is to never kill stuff like that for money. I only ever kill bosses for money, simply because they aren't botted.

No they can't. They are always Keyloggers on for example a fake RuneScape. I reckon you've just had a bad experience, or not had an experience at all (and basically never played RuneScape)

Livio, what do you think about being able to be logged in in 2 places at the same time? as in, if i log in from work, and i come back home, i'm still logged in, and am not logged out once i log in at work?

that doesn't work shos. cookies are deleted if you log in from another place. and i could steal yaya's cookies through coding. use the cookies as my own. so i would be logged in as yaya on neo, interguild, facebook etc.

Can you give more exact details than that, Soccerboy? Keep in mind, I'm not questioning you cuz I don't believe you, it's because I've truly never heard of this before. If you don't feel like telling the whole Interguild how to hack, feel free to PM me.

In layman's terms, Yaya, when you log onto a site, it creates a cookie.  That cookie can be used to keep you logged into your account for a set time or forever.  It's like a session.  He could steal your cookie and take your logged in session.  Make sense?

in order to steal a cookie, you'd have to go figure out how to trick the browser into thinking that the website you're visiting is the same website that created that cookie, which is not easy to do, I imagine. And even then, you'd have to figure out how to fool a human being into actually visiting your fake website, which is also not all that easy.

No I haven't played, but someone I know (or it was a friend, idk) had played RuneScape, got some rare things (remember, idk, but if he was hacked, then they must have been rare), and was hacked and lost everything, it may have been cookie stealing, or it could have been a program, but he was hacked.

No they aren't necessarily rich. These keyloggers will hack any account for the heck of it. For example, if they hacked a level 50 they'd gain 100k. If they hacked me they'd gain 15mil. If they hacked some l33t pr0 they'd get up to maybe one or two billion.

Okay, but they did hack my friend, so there is proof that people do hack RuneScape. Even you gave some proof!

When you have this:
Code:
<?php
for ($count = 1 ; $count <=12 ; ++$count)
	echo "$count times 12 is " . $count * 12 . ".<br />";
?>

Why does removing the .'s make it give an error.  My book barely gave a terrible answer, and I have no idea what .'s do.
