If you're reading this, you have been placed into Team Juddge, for the 2010 Interguild Olympics. Here's a list of everyone in this team:
Livio
Isa Isa
Jellsprout
Quirvy
This is a secret forum board for all Team Judge members, which we'll probably use a lot throughout the IO. For now, we can use this topic to come up with a better name for our team.

Quote: Kitti hasn't entered the Olympics and has made HatPC levels before. So I suppose she'll get disqualified.
Not entering the olympics doesn't affect whether or not you qualify for a competition.
But because she made a hatpc level, yeah, she's disqualified...

13 levels to judge in less than two days? I'm in for a lot of work...but I'll hopefully be done by tomorrow night. | | Livio |

that's why we should be in a continuous state of judging, constantly ranking submitted levels against each other from best to worst, and updating the list when a new entry is submitted.
anyway, time to judge. | | Livio |

Here are my results. I'm leaving my level out of the rankings to avoid any unintentional bias. Also it's really hard to tell the quality of a puzzle level when you're the one who made it. I also left out the SMW world, because I don't have time to download it now.
Paradoxes (Electric Box) - Livio
3-level hack (SMW) - Jazz
Victory Lap (N) - imtimi
Faith (Knytt Stories) - Dekudude
Gravity Maze (Amberial Axis) - shos
It's Electric! (Electric Box) - Yaya
Peg (Red Remover) - soccerboy13542
Venture (Pyro II) - Ckjr
Smoke Alarm (Electric Box) - guyguyxtreme
1/3 (Gravity Grid) - GF4
Made Quickly? Of course not! (Amberial Axis) - Harumbai
CCW, CCW, CCW, CCW, CW (Gravity Grid) - canadianstickdeath
Kittikiyana Dogga Cave (HATPC) - Kittikiyana
Kitti's disqualified (or is she? didn't she just find a loophole, by uploading her first HATPC level to the site?). I had a hard time figuring out the right order for the bottom levels. I think I put Harumbai's in between the two gravity grid levels just for the heck of it. | | Isa |

You have to include your own level though, or we'd put it behind Kitti. | | Isa |

Shos
Yaya
Livio
Imtimi
Deku
Soccerboy
Guyguy
Ckjr
Harumbai
CSD
Goldfun
Jazz wasn't on this list because of the usage of a ROM, and I claim that all games forcing you to do something illegal should be removed from the Interguild. Kitti wasn't on this list because she's disqualified, apparently. | | Livio |

Isa! what did you think of my level?
hmm, I never thought of that ROM issue. I wonder what jell thinks. | | jellsprout |

I don't care about the ROM. I already have a clean SMW ROM and I've played patches of other games before.
If a judge doesn't want to play the level for whatever reason, we could take the average ranking of the two judges who did. For a tiebreaker we still have Quirvy and Dando.

Here is what I have so far:
1. Victory Lap (N) - imtimi
2. Faith (Knytt Stories) - Dekudude
3. Venture (Pyro II) - Ckjr
4. Paradoxes (Electric Box) - Livio
5. It's Electric! (Electric Box) - Yaya
6. Gravity Maze (Amberial Axis) - shos
7. CCW, CCW, CCW, CCW, CW (Gravity Grid) - canadianstickdeath
8. level hack (SMW) - Jazz
9. Peg (Red Remover) - soccerboy13542
10. Smoke Alarm (Electric Box) - guyguyxtreme
11. 1/3 (Gravity Grid) - GF4
12. Made Quickly? Of course not! (Amberial Axis) - Harumbai
Not played:
-Kittikiyana Dogga Cave (HATPC) - Kittikiyana
1. I feel that a part of the level was either rushed or that Intimi messed op on some of it. It is just odd that most of those enemies are imprisoned for the entire level, and that two switches don't get used at all.
2. When will people finally realize that good Knytt levels aren't pure platformers, but a combination of adventurers and platformers. Still, it reminds me of a certain genre of Flash games, such as There And Back Again, a hyper-linear game with a dark, simple, slightly supernatural backstory.
3. I was pretty impressed Venture. I don't know, but more thought appears to have been put into this level than most other levels here. It is still too difficult, but still a good level.
4 and 5. These two were pretty equal in quality. Especially because they are the same game, it is only fair to compare the two side-by-side. But I thought Livio's level was more creative than Yaya's.
6. It's pretty small. Shos could have done a lot more with this.
7. I ignored the name for this level. I knew it was the answer for this level, so I tried to forgot the little part of it I had read.
8. I didn't like it very much. You could easily beat it by letting the first two green balls bumping that middle ball before removing it, and it was a pain to remove all the remaining red balls.
9. Very straightforward. I didn't need much puzzling for this level.
10. Even easier than Smoke Alarm.
11. If you don't want to put any effort into your entries, don't bother at all. You're just wasting the judges' time.
I can't get Jazz's patch to work, so I haven't played that yet.
I ignored the name of CSD's level and try to solve it the normal way.
Edit: I got SMW to work, but oh my god, I ****ing hate games with lives. After running out all my lives 4 times in a row, without even making it far in the first level, I have decided to let this rest for now.
Edit2: I played the SMW levels enough to say that I thoroughly hate them. The levels themselves aren't the difficult, or even special, if it weren't for the fact that he spams enemies far too much. More enemies != more fun. I hate this about most N levels, I hate it about most SMF levels, and I really hate it here. Don't add enemies for no reason, they only suck the fun out of the level.

so....
6. Victory Lap (N) - imtimi
9. Faith (Knytt Stories) - Dekudude
10. Gravity Maze (Amberial Axis) - shos
11. Paradoxes (Electric Box) - Livio
12. It's Electric! (Electric Box) - Yaya
18. Venture (Pyro II) - Ckjr
level hack (SMW) - Jazz
21. Peg (Red Remover) - soccerboy13542
25. Smoke Alarm (Electric Box) - guyguyxtreme
28. CCW, CCW, CCW, CCW, CW (Gravity Grid) - canadianstickdeath
31. 1/3 (Gravity Grid) - GF4
31. Made Quickly? Of course not! (Amberial Axis) - Harumbai
XX. Kittikiyana Dogga Cave (HATPC) - Kittikiyana
(those are points, btw ) I had a hard time breaking the many ties here, and I probably did a bad job of it? Judging from your results, I placed myself just in front of yaya, and since jell thought Jazz's level was better than Peg and Smoke Alarm, I put it for seventh place. And GF is in front of Harumbai since 2/3 of us ranked him higher than Harumbai.
I'll wait for your opinions before releasing these. | | jellsprout |

Regarding team scores as a whole
If a member of your team gets gold, you get 3 points, silver 2, bronze, 1?
Or should we do the top 5? Or should we do it some other way?

let's do top 3. That way if one team entered more entries they wouldn't have such a strong advantage.
I'll release the results. | | Quirvy |

So right now, the score is:
KarmaBites: 5(imtimi 3, deku 2)
Team GREATS: 1(shos 1)
Ninja Koopas: 0(Livio 0)

Also, points are decreased if there are fewer entries. So if there's only one entry, and it does not get disqualified, it gets 1 point, if there are 2 entries, both qualify, they get 1 and 2 points for 2nd and 1st.
Anyone disagree?

wait, I don't get it.
if a team enters two entries which win first and second place, instead of getting 3 and 2 points, they get 2 and 1 points?
but if there's only one entry, the team wins a point anyway? | | Quirvy |

No, if in the overall competition, there are two entries, first gets 2, second gets 1.

oh, then yeah that's what we should do. But each team must enter at least one entry in each round or else lose a point, so hopefully we'll have at least three entries in everything. | | |
