Or perhaps the head mafia doesn't have investigative immunity? I thought they just had night kill immunity. Although, Harumbai in that first game did... Maybe soccer not having that immunity is part of leveling the field since we only have 12 players?

The logical thing to do here is to lynch soccerboy. But since we already know he's mafia, anyone want to lynch shos just because he's been really annoying this entire game?

Sorry for the unbalanced setup, but in my defense, Yaya got really lucky with his investigations: He only had four targets and out of those, he targeted Mafia twice. I'll post more later. Work now.

And from this point everyone should have known. Shos couldn't have died, so why would Soccer say this? Was he just momentarily confused? Or was this part of a greater scheme? Can we even answer a single one of these questions? <- the answer to that one is yes. I just answered one!

If you look at page 2, of the first day... You see the words "i", "am", and "mafiascum" as words, 10, 30, and 54, in their respective orders. Obviously, Soccer, in his confusion forgot to put a slash between mafia and scum. The statement SHOULD read I am mafia/scum.

The clear, coded message was so obvious, only to be put my Captain Obvious' sidekick in pointing out obvious stuff, Blatantly Apparent Boy! First he chose the number 10 because, excluding Isa's posts, he was posting the 10th post on Page 2. So take a look at this. Page 2 x Post 10 = Some-weird-word 20 (I believe this statement to be true).

From there, the original 10 + earlier-stated-weird-word 20 = 30, which indicates word 30 (am) of that post. Then, you add the digits. 1 + 0 + 3 + 0 = 4. Now we take 10 + 20 (the original) + 10 + 4 (the new) = 54, which not-so-cleverly hides the secret message. Why the incorrect use of hyphens? 1... 2... 3... *CHOMP*

The world may never know.

Moving on to the conspiracy of Day 2. You might have asked: Is Soccer even on vacation? The answer, quite simply, is yes. I was indeed on vacation, HOWEVER, I realized then, that this could be the Interguild Biggest Fail Candidate of this year... You know, like, if they actually got to it. It's not like I chose to be mafia, though. It was a hard life back then.

CUE FLASHBACK.

It was 1984, back when Jebby still made caves. They came after me. Who "they" are is unknown to me. They trained me. I was one of the better cavemakers, back then known as Zenda_Kitty. Even though many of my paper caves were impossible, I was still praised at the site known as... the Interguild. I made caves endlessly. I tried not to, but my mafia efforts eventually got my
little brother involved.

I didn't WANT him involved in these efforts. It was a dangerous time. It was known to me as a way of life, though. What could I have done? Well, obviously, I could have lynched him, but that wouldn't be very brotherly of me. I eventually went up in the ranks. I kept building my shrine, until I was at the peak of my existence. I made the greatest caves! Of course, it was still impossible, but that's totally irrelevant.

People started to catch on. People started to question me. They thought of me as suspicious, so I left. I often though back on my mafia life. If I come back, can I even start anew? I have seen no other way of life... How could I survive?

END FLASHBACK

It is now present day. I am a mere ghost, looking back upon a horrible existence. I came back solely to kill. This was all I could do. Not WELL, but I could do it! I attempted to make a last farewell by killing Thomas, and it was already far too late. Yaya had identified Harumbai as the leader. THAT WAS THE NAME. Harumbai was the name of the man, oh so long ago, who had kidnapped me on that frightful day, August 23rd, 1984.

Regardless of the fact that we were brutally murdered... I can now finally rest.

Well the mafia played pretty badly. No real plans in the QT and stuff AND you had daytalk. It couldn't have been any easier. There's some useful information in the graveyard but I don't know if Isa gave everyone access to it yet. And shos, I blocked all actions on N2 which turned out to save Yaya.

jazz didn't touch the QT until he finally had to say that he'll be gone for 7 days. then he was done for.

Obviously, this didn't work out very well.

Day 2 I tried to come on but I couldn't get to the quicktopic except through the pm, and I completely forgot about it :/
so Harumbai was pretty much left alone day 2. he made some decisions that i did not agree with, but he had asked for my confirmation...

so that kinda just. dead. lol.

Access to the graveyard added

I don't think that the set up was unbalanced in favor of the town, but we have yet to really see the roles that much. I feel like the mafia just got really unlucky in this game. I put having jazz on their team into the category of bad luck, because he seems to never really put forth much of an effort in mafia, and this game was no different.

The remaining 2 players didn't exactly play great, I had soccer as an indie/town, and Harumbai as mafia in my day 2 readings, but I still feel like they were mostly done in by bad luck.

I'll talk about the game more tomorrow, but for now I'll simply say this:

I nominate shos for worst player of the game, Yaya for MVP, and Thomas for most improved player.
