Well there's the pro-town way and the anti town way to contribute. You apply to the latter.

False. If you aren't scum hunting, then you aren't contributing. Contributing here means contributing to the scum hunt or more generally contributing to the game (which, as thomas points out, means either scum hunting or distracting from the scum hunt). So, if you are "contributing" but not scum hunting, that would make you mafia, or at least anti-town.

There is no reason I should have had to say this. It's really common sense. Silver, if you think I'm wrong, please inform me of what a contribution could possibly be if it doesn't involve finding the mafia.

So now I'm thinking about a possible soccer-silver-??? scum team. I don't see why soccer would take the statements silver has made as protown, unless he knows something I don't about silver. Posting things that make sense is not a towntell in anyway. Look at Isa, both this game and when he was scum. Posting things that make sense but are still wrong is the job of the mafia. Understanding this is a fundamental part of this game; I don't feel like a townie would forget that sort of thing.

This part. It's sounds a lot like you are saying her style is protown, without explicitly using the phrase "protown". My problem with this is that you shouldn't have to remind someone to hunt for scum. Even in my first game, this was second nature to me; how could you possibly win if you didn't? Sure, I did quite a lot of it very badly, but not so badly as not doing anything. That's like telling someone in a game of soccer that they should try to kick the ball into the other team's goal.

It should be obvious, but for whatever reason, she wasn't. If my defender isn't defending, I'll tell him to do so, even if it's so obvious that it's in the title, "defender".
