For a second I thought I was a few days late on starting a new round (since I haven't been on in a few days), but that was actually kroto being late on judging.

Judge to sand

Judge -> Judge dredd -> bad stuff -> burning hot sand -> sand

Judge -> prejudice -> stereotypes -> faulty beliefs -> the Sandman -> sand

I didn't think I liked this the first time I saw it, but I've changed my mind because I liked "me banking on being the only entry" 8/10
I thought that using hitler wasn't very original, and I also didn't really think that suffocation -> Sand was too great of a connection 4/10
You can do much better than bad stuff -> burning hot sand. 2/10
I'm not a very big fan of this one, but upon closer inspection there is nothing wrong with it. That doesn't mean you get a 10/10, though, that just means it's a perfectly valid linkage. 7/10
I didn't link how the middle one was a phrase describing the objects around it, and the rest of them were just single, definite words. There's nothing egregious about it, it just feels out of place. I basically did the same thing in the previous round, but my short phrase was meant to be a humorous link rather than just a link. Yours is still perfectly valid, though. 6/10
I just don't find this very compelling. 5.5/10
