I think your getting your pigeons mixed up. Carrier Pigeons were the domesticated birds known for carrying messages. Passenger pigeons were wild birds that went extinct about 100 years ago. Also, I'm not completely sold on the "Messaging -> Private Documents -> Safe" sequence. 5/10

You could have used a better word to start it off. Something like "Pigeon Spikes", "Bird Spikes" or as Wikipedia calls them "Bird Control Spikes". But I guess that was okay. 6/10

I'm not sure how you got from cities to stale pretzels, and stale pretzels are usually not because they were not well prepared, but because they weren't eaten soon enough. But you at least went into an interesting direction. 8/10
