Basics | War and Rebellion | Alliances and Trade | Capitals |
Every turn, you can add provinces to your nation by taking them using resources. Each neutral (white) province costs 5 resources each. You begin with 5 resources each turn, and any additional ones you have from your production. For sea zones, fill in the white circle. You may only claim zones that are touching your nation. Save your images in .png.
During a round, everyone must take their turn by posting a map. Each round lasts 5 days, and it does not matter what order you take your turn in. When the round is up, all people that did not take their turns are declared 'inactive'. | You can declare war on other nations. When you are at war, you can claim the zones of your enemy, but they cost 10 resources to claim instead of 5. The war will start the next turn. You may only claim the other person's zones that you are declaring war on the next round. Also, when at war, neutral territories still have the lower cost of 5 resources for normal zones and 25 resources for capitals. You can end war by declaring peace, which will go into effect immediately. If you exterminate another player's nation completely, you will gain 50% of their stored resources.
Non-players can rebel from a nation if no more neutral territory is left, taking 10%, or 8, of their zones, whichever is lesser, from their territory, but you are automatically at war with that player. | You can form pacts with other nations, which means they cannot attack you and you may send each other resources through trade.
When you trade, you can send up to 50 resources from your saved resources that were left unspent in your turn. When you leave resources in your turn unspent, they go into a bank of saved resources. You can spend these resources in your turn, or send them away to your allies. They collect over time, and are part of your resources that you can spend. | There are capital provinces distributed throughout the map that are roughly in the locale of real life Europe's capitals. The special capital provinces produce 5 resources per turn, and you can get an additional bonus of 1 resource per turn from all of that country's provinces if you own the whole nation. If one of your capitals is stolen, you will lose up to 30 of your saved resources, and the production bonus will cancel.

Welcome to the second map game on Interguild. This one is radically different from FlashMarsh's, in a few key ways.
The map
The rules:
Instead of having a set nation size and doing issues on it like you would in NationStates, you expand your territory, fight other players, and try to conquer the map using resources you gain from having provinces.
Simply join the game by posting the map with the territory you choose to start out in. During a round, everyone must take their turn by posting a map. Each round lasts 5 days, and it does not matter what order you take your turn in. When the round is up, all people that did not take their turns are declared 'inactive'.
In this game, you may not delete or change the black borders. You choose a non-capital zone you want to start in, and fill it with your chosen, unique national color. Every turn, you can add provinces to your nation by taking them using resources. Each neutral (white) province costs 5 resources each. You begin with 5 resources each turn, and any additional ones you have from your production. For sea zones, fill in the white circle. Please save your image in .png.
Non-players can declare war on other nations. When you are at war, you can claim the zones of your enemy, but they cost 10 resources to claim instead of 5, so if you have 80 resources, you could choose to claim 8 enemy zones, 16 normal zones or any combination.
The war will start the next turn. You can end war by declaring peace. If you exterminate another player's nation completely, you will gain 50% of their stored resources. You can rebel from a nation if no more neutral territory is left, taking 10%, or 8, of their zones, whichever is lesser, from their territory, but you are automatically at war with that player.
(Note: Luxembourg is considered part of Belgium, Kosovo and Montenegro are considered part of Serbia, Cyprus is considered part of Turkey, Jordan is considered part of Israel, Saudi Arabia part of Iraq, Kazakhstan part of Russia, Morocco part of Portugal, and Lebanon part of Syria for this game.)
For the non-Euros, here are the capitals in red, and here are the nations.
You win, and the game ends, when all zones of the map are yours.

I have to say, this looks really awesome. Do you sign up or something for this, or do you just play? Oh, and how many players at a time can there be?

Soccer lol ;d
Anyways, rocketguy, you shouldn't resize image when uploading it to imageshack. As you see, your one is smaller than the rest. When uploading it to imageshack, change the option to "don't resize" or something like that somewhere under upload button. | | atomic7732 |

You guys should probably use spoilers when you're posting what area of the map you want to start in.

Rocketguy, you can't join on a capital because it gives you an unfair advantage. Try joining on a zone adjacent to Paris. And please don't resize, keep the image at 1280*1024

We only get 5 points each turn, and we need 5 to gain a neutral territory? Won't that make the game progress very slowly? Personally I'd give out more, just to make things develop faster, but I guess I'll have to see how this turns out.
I noticed that rocketguy2 actually changed his location to a non-capital, but no one noticed, so I put it in for him. He's the fellow in by France. I'm the new purple dude to the east

Well, with all the people playing it won't be many turns before there's a war and it gets exciting. Anyways that means we can take 1 zone per turn at the beginning, but it'll go like this, if nobody is inactive.
6 to spend (turn 2) -> 8 to spend (turn 3) -> 11 to spend (turn 4)
