Last week's update was never posted, so this week will cover the events of the past two weeks.

About two weeks ago, there was an effort on Facebook to get more people to join the Interguild. As far as I can tell, we only got one person to join, and he hasn't even posted. We should try again...

On April 6th, I added the new ChatBox Page. Clicking on the text above the chatbox that reads "Member Chat Box" will take you to this new page where you can read through all the chatbox posts in a much larger area and all in one page. You can also use this to edit the Custom Chatbox Name option from the old layout.

On April 7th, Teo_pl posted his ridiculous Mount Everest Walkthrough video.

Jebby started an interesting topic about Competition Ideas.

Around April 8th, the poll in the Random Chat topic was changed. It's no longer about Dando being super awesome, and I can't even remember when that was first added; it's been there for several months. But at least the countdown is still there. That countdown is counting down to the end of HB_1's suspension, which lasts for 666 days, but unfortunately that account no longer exists.

A new member joined: zemra25.

On April 9th, we started messing around with a new Karma-to-Post ratio stat on the user profiles. After many attempts, including one that involved scientific notation, we decided to display the ratio as Karma Per Hundred Posts. There is also an ordering option on the member list for it. Also some time this week, I added another ordering option for Age.

Also on the 9th, the Interguild Research Team Found Odd Similarities between Quirvy's and Isa's profiles. To further emphasize them, someone in the staff started posting a new censor in the chatbox (most people noticed it from the chatbox page), and that censor would redirect you to Quirvy's profile.

It was also on this day that the staff finally released CSD's HATPC guides for Tutorial 5 and Tutorial 6. We were surprised again when the Level One guide was posted only a few days later on April 13th. This is impressive, especially when you look at the usual amount of time it takes for these these guides to get posted: Tutorial 4 was posted back in October, Tutorials 2 and 3 in August, and Tutorial 1 in July.

Last Sunday, the 11th, no weekly update was posted. On Monday, I logged on saying something about how I would post the weekly update around midnight Interguild time, but I never came. I then kept pushing it off until I decided to post it along with this week's post.

Lately, I've been working on Aeon, and so far I've begun a total reorganization of the game's coding. I first posted about this on Facebook, but the purpose is to make room for as many features in the future and to make sure it all runs as efficiently as possible, especially since the game really isn't put together very well right now.

Speaking of Aeon, there's also been some great progress on the Graphics 'n stuff discussion topic.

Last Thursday, the 15th, I took over the Interguild's Twitter account (from Haily) and I began posting its updates manually, as opposed to just having our tweets automatically posted from our Facebook updates. So far we only have 4 followers--Isa, Jazz, and some IceCaves people--, so if any of you guys have Twitter accounts, follow the Interguild! However, I guess most of you guys follow us via Facebook and it would just be redundant to also follow our tweets.

Silver's birthday was on April 4th, and Yaya's birthday was this past Friday, the 16th.

On Friday, Quirvy responded to the lack of a weekly update by posting his own update about the weekly update.

On Thursday, a conversation on CSD's Level One guide started going off topic, it continued through Friday, and by Saturday the conversation was completely out of control! It was probably the most off-topic conversation we've had yet, and the staff (Jell) was forced to take administrative action and lock the topic today. The conversation went something like this: how to tell your left from your right -> bad left vs. right puns -> lego -> how to deal with the offtopic situation -> Captain Oblivious appears!! -> flipping Silver's avatar -> some crazy Silver-Jazz conversation and something about adjusting Silver's flipped avatar -> jell locks topic -> [staff] how to deal with the offtopic situation.

Shortly after I flipped Silver's avatar and she started that long conversation/argument with Jazz in that Level One topic, and after it spilled into the Random Chat topic, Quirvy followed Yaya's request of containing it in one topic by creating the new Silver-Jazz Conversation Topic.

Not long after that, Jazz created a new topic called the Orcassaur Memorial (or something like that), which paid homage to Orcassaur, ever since his disappearance from the Interguild about a month ago. The topic has since then been renamed to the User Memorial Topic, dedicated to all our great members who haven't been on lately.

Last night, Quirvy started spamming my PM inbox with "Interguild Warnings" from Reported PM's. This led to a kind of PM-spam-fight that involved several people. The chatbox conversation was recorded in the Random Chat topic for your viewing pleasure.

By the way, last night at around 10pm Interguild time, the site went down. I don't know what caused it, but it lasted for quite a while. But that's just another reason why you should follow us on Facebook/Twitter, so that you'll have somewhere to go if the site goes down.

Earlier today, the Collaborative Levels competition was extended again. It is now set to end this Friday, April 23rd, so that the comp's duration is exactly one month. In the past two weeks, shos and I pretty much wasted all our time trying to start our entry, but Teo's team was also behind, which is why the comp was extended. If it wasn't for Teo, shos and I probably would've turned in a rushed cave.

I fixed a couple glitches today. Ever since the release of the new layout, you weren't able to karma-rate topics. That's fixed now. Also, in the box on the top left of the page that has your user info when you're logged in, there's a link to "Private Messages" and it also shows the number of PM's that you have. Up until now, that always came up as zero.

I also updated the links that show up under the "Forums & Community" tab. Along with that, I've updated and reorganized the Official Censors topic. There are probably some new censors there that you weren't aware of...

This Week's Featured Content:

Not many levels were made since mostly everyone was busy with the Collaborative Levels comp, so I decided to put all of the entries so far into featured content. And I loved the Mount Everest walkthrough so much that I featured it too. This left room for one more, so I decided to pick a classic: Midnight Cave II.

Progression by Isa and Harumbai
Mount Everest Walkthrough by Teo_pl
Jumble by Yaya and Harumbai
Personalities by evan and Ckjr
Midnight Cave II by midnight/jellsprout
Unification by soccerboy13542 and Jazz

This is misleading.

While CSD was the founding author of the guides, he didn't post Tutorials 5 and 6. Jell did, when he edited and approved them both. And Level 1 was technically posted by him, but the "surprised" was more given by me, who edited the guide. CSD makes the guide, but it's us to those who edit them to get them finished.

So what I'm saying is wrong with your post is:
1. You made it seem like CSD is generally slow in releasing the guides, when it is actually the editors that procrastinate
2. You made it seem like CSD should be given full credit for the releasing of both tut's 5 and 6, when he in reality wrote them like 2 months ago. Same kind of goes for Level one, except that it's less wrong, because he was the one who officially released it.

Oh crap, I need to update my weekly update update!!

The User Memorial Topic is dedicated to people who haven't been on and who have a lot of influence on people. And people who people talk about.
