A while ago, Livio made it possible for the staff to hand out custom awards. This means a lot of things, including that the old game of "Find Interbot" can resume. Also "Badges" is another name for "Custom Awards". The following custom awards have been added:

I Found Interbot
The game is simple. The staff members have hidden the phrase "Interbot was is here", in the title of one of the pages around the site. Find the location, post it here, and you'll receive an award! Whenever someone does that, the location will change and the hunt will begin again. Obviously, since Interbot can find Interbot, he is currently the first recipient of the award.
Recipients: Bmwsu, Interbot, Jazz, Krotomo, Quirvy, imtimi, Isa, Yaya, Thomas, soccerboy13542, Rocket Guy2, FlashMarsh, Shos.
Going For The Record
In order to get this award, you have to stay online for at least 24 hours. This was related to the Neezles Account Takeover, when "a_neezles_a" tried to break the online-time record.
Recipients: Bmwsu, a_neezles_a, jellsprout, soccerboy13542, Thomas, Darvince, Jorster, Teo
Your Overlord D52
This award is only available if you are actually Dando52.
Recipient: Bmwsu, Dando52
My Imagination Is Always Thinking... OF IDEAS!
Based off of an old joke, this award is given to those who suggest an idea that the staff ends up implementing. This includes new awards, so for suggesting this particular award, Yaya is a recipient. As well, FlashMarsh is a recipient for suggesting the entire custom awards system.
Recipients: Bmwsu, Yaya, Thomas, Jazz
My Imagination Is Always Thinking... OF IDEAS!
Just like the previous one, except for those who care about energy efficiency and the environment.
Recipients: Bmwsu, FlashMarsh, imtimi, Silver, Yimmerly7
Ruby The Brave
You get this award for contributing some pretty artwork for potential use in Aeon. This is based off of an old joke from the old forums, in which "Ruby the Brave" was suggested to be Aeon's main character.
Recipients: Bmwsu, aych bee, jellsprout, FlashMarsh, krotomo, Kittikyana, Silver, Dekudude, soccerboy13542, DeathBunni X
Full of Win!
You get this award for writing music for potential use in Aeon. This is based off the April Fools Day 2010 build of Aeon, and the "full of win" text is a reference to the screen that comes up when you beat a level in the first few Aeon demos.
Recipients: Bmwsu, canadianstickdeath, Dekudude, the_grimace, rosabellis, FlashMarsh, Harumbai, Cedric_09_
Close Encounter
To get this award, you have to be seen online at the same time as Haily. Yeah right.
Recipients: Bmwsu, Haily, jazz, kk66464522, canadianstickdeath, Dando, imtimi, Livio, Dekudude, krotomo, GF4, Thomas, DBX, jellsprout, Isa, Cedric_09_, Yaya, Quirvy, Yimmy7, Teo, Jorster, Bang_jan, Buboy24, Silver, Shos
Beware: Super Stalker
This award was made specifically for a_neezles_a.
Recipients: Bmwsu, a_neezles_a
Neopets' Cave of the Week Award
This is awarded to those who win Neopets' Cave of the Week
Recipients: Bmwsu, canadianstickdeath, cheopspyramid, soccerboy13542, krotomo, Dekudude, Quirvy, Isa, Silver, dabigkid, GF4, jorster23, Harumbai, Teo

As previously, feel free to suggest your own ideas for an award, and if yours is accepted, you'll find a shiny one on your look-up. If you can provide an image that's about the same size as our current awards, please submit that as well, for increased chances that the staff will accept your award.

If you could get the award for video recruitment, everyone who made a video and put "Join the Interguild!" at the end would get the award, and that doesn't really make sense.

Because staff = lazy bums

Award given to rocket guy2, added his name to the list of recipients.

Did the same thing for Darvince and the going for record award, even though I feel like we shouldn't give it to him as punishment for all of the overkill he did.

I don't second this, I mean he did have to go through all of this trouble just to get it.

Maybe we can make a special award and call it "So close!" just for Darvince. XD

Sorry for this, but shouldn't I get the "I'm always thinking of ideas" award? Because, as I recall, I came up with the idea for the alternate censor. I don't really care but I'm just wondering

Oh yeah I should get the "My Imagination Is Always Thinking... OF IDEAS" award for this. In fact, I bet Livio updated that link around the site without consulting staff so that's even better!

I should also get the second "My Imagination Is Always Thinking... OF IDEAS" award because it reduced the amount of energy used when one opens HatPC. You no longer have to load all those dumb ads or load the preloader file which means less requests sent to the server so energy is saved!

Edit: This was a pretty good suggestion as well.

lol Thomas.

I respect both ideas but now it just looks like you're saying only programmers are allowed to get the second "My imagination is always thinking...OF IDEAS" award. But that's just me. :p

I dunno if that's really true but I don't get your point. I could say "only member get awards" so then if you aren't a member then become a member! My point is that if you aren't a programmer then become one. Livio says he learned php-in-a-day (I don't really believe that though...).

I can understand that, because back in '08 he told me "if you know HTML really well, PhP is a breeze to learn" although I don't entirely see any resemblances between HTML and PHP but oh well.

Shouldnt I also get the award for thinking of +1 and -1 ? :3

I don't think that that's true. You should know HTML to use PHP because PHP pretty much generates the HTML sent to the client based on conditions and stuff. I don't see how HTML helps you learn though. Anyway, hopefully I'm not confusing you if you're planning on learning it or something. Maybe I just don't consider learning until when your code is actually good or something. I think I still have some codes from when I first started programming stuff in PHP and it's pretty bad.

When was the last time the staff actually gave somebody an award?

Cedric, your idea was for them to be thumbs up and down. It was actually I who thought of using the colored +1 and -1 as a censor, and I thought that the : y : and : n : combinations you came up with were very convenient, so I added the censors to see how they would look and if they had any support in the community.

I mean, it's basically the same idea in what they represent, but where I came up with the +1 and -1 wasn't directly from your idea. And even with that, that would be like if someone was like:

"We should have a picture to show rage. What about ?"
And then someone else suggests the picture instead, and we went with that, and then the first guy demands recognition for his idea.

Anyways, as for the whole "I should get that award for this" thing that's going on right now that every staff member has been avoiding because they know that them responding would put pressure on them to give people awards which isn't a very fun process and they're all lazy myself included so they'd rather avoid doing it altogether by ignoring the problem: fine, I'll cave in and hand out some awards.
( @ fellow staff members)

Thomas I'll gladly give an award to, for the thing he mentioned in his edit.
I'd like to see Jorster find evidence of him proposing the idea and link to it before I give him an award, because I don't remember him suggesting that idea, even if it was him.
I'll hesitantly give Jazz an award, even though I haven't noticed anyone use them outside of talking about the censors, which is mostly me.
And I'm not yet sold on Cedric deserving an award for the +1 and -1 censors when his suggestion was actually thumbs up and down pictures.

(also, I changed guyguy to FlashMarsh in the big news post above, since he's not guyguy anymore)

Interestingly enough, I only see one PM from rocketguy, and it isn't about where to put interbot.

I'll have to ask him through PM.

Award given. I also edited the awards for several other people. Before it wouldn't randomly spawn a pop-up message about interbot. Now it will.

InterBot has been rehidden.

Yeah I posted "Interguild BBcode Guide" in the chat box which appeared as the interbot message at the time so that proved that I found interbot. He wasn't hidden on a very secret page though. Anyway I'm pretty sure google doesn't index this page where interbot is so good luck!
