The day after April Fools day was apparently Flame's birthday, but because he lives in New Zealand, it was already "tomorrow" by the time we noticed. As stated in the April Fools Day Summary post, Catta has changed her username again. This time, her name is "Silver". The staff has now decided to get serious with usernames will now deny any further name changes from her for at least another year. On Friday, the Skyscraper Comp Results were finally released. The Collaborative Levels Competition ends in just one week. I pretty much spent all of this week trying to get shos to respond to my PM's so that we could make progress on our entry. On Saturday, or actually, just a few hours before the time of this writing, the new layout went live. I began to work on redesigning the Interguild layout somewhere around December, and because I was taking my time, rewriting certain pages, and even starting a new design from scratch about midway through, a ridiculous four months (almost four months) passed before I finished it. And that wasn't until I started rushing to get this layout out before my Spring break ended (today's the last day ) This means that most pages were sloppily converted into the new layout, and there were a ton of glitches to fix. You should report all bugs you find to this topic, not this one, and when in doubt, just hit Ctrl+F5. Anyway, next on my plans for the site is to reform the level database pages. I had actually begun to do that while working on the layout, but I had to push those files aside and bring in the old pages again to release the layout. And unfortunately, you may not see major progress on it until a few weeks from now, once all of my AP tests have gotten out of the way. Along with the new layout came a new Featured Content slider on the homepage. Every week, I'll update the featured levels and videos, and I'll highlight them here on the Weekly Update. They'll mostly be a mix between the top content of recent days along with some good stuff from old times. This week's featured content includes: Down We Go by Shos This is the level shos was working on all week and the reason why he wouldn't work on our entry for the collaborative comp. It follows in series with his last cave, where there is a restriction put on how you should play it. in this cave, you can only use the left and right arrow keys, and you must hold the Down arrow key the entire time. It's pretty hard, but what were you expecting from shos? Pangaea by Harumbai Harumbai made this cool level back in January. I never got to seriously try this level out, so hopefully putting it up as Featured will get me to play it this week. Oh, that reminds me! I never beat Filler. Sorry, Isa. Not What U Expect 2 - Video Walkthrough by canadianstickdeath As the first official featured video, I decided to choose a classic. This is 10-minute video on a masterpiece of a cave. Keep you enemies close by Isa This is one of the best N levels on the site. It's basically a speed level where you have to be fast enough to keep the drone along the path so that you can eventually use him to beat the level. Side Boundaries by Ckjr This level received a lot of attention a while ago. It's only 2 tiles wide, which results in a ton of glitch-exploiting. Even though I said it was way overrated, it's still really cool. Out of This World by goldfun4 This is a great DDA made in Splitter 2. More people should check this cool game out. User Comments (4)
